The Cabin - OUAT fanfic

Chapter 1

Emma's POV

I was sitting in the passenger seat of my father's car, looking out the slightly open window with the California air blowing in my face. I was dreading walking, through those two doors into school.

Every day was like this for me, hating school. The only good part of the day is seeing my two best friends Regina and Zelena. And of course my devilishly handsome boyfriend Killian.

"Emma honey did you hear me?" my dad asks loudly breaking me out of my thoughts. He's probably been talking for a while but I just wasn't listening. I shake my head at him, giving my dad an apologetic look. He looks at me through the corner of his eye and smiles reassuringly.

He continues, "Well your mom and I were thinking that since you're getting older you can go somewhere for spring break just you, Regina and Zelena." feel a smile forming on my face.

"And Killian, right dad?" he rolls his eyes.

"Fine you can bring your damn boyfriend but no funny business!" he points at me causing me to laugh.

"Oh and of course we can't forget about robin and--" i start before he cuts me off.

"Ok, ok enough you, gina, Zelena, Killian and robin are the only ones going. You leave the first day of spring break and come back 5 days later."

"Really?" I ask with disbelief.

"No." my dad simply states with a straight face. I feel my smile drop.

He smiles. "I'm just kidding. You are going on Spring Break without your annoying parents to be watching your every move." he looks over at me for a second.

His arm is resting on the armrest and I hug it tightly making him chuckle.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you!" I squeal. I go on asking him more questions about where the cabin is and how he found it and before I knew it I was at school.

I start to leave and close the door before my dad stopped me. "Hey! You just leave your old man here without the handshake?" he screams. I smile and do the handshake. We fist bump, and create hooks with our fingers and interlock them squeezing tightly.

"Bye Dad! Love you!" I yell running towards the double doors to hell.

Just trying this story out.
