Chapter 17

Tonight was the day of our lives: Prom. The night where we can be careless, laugh, and just spend some time with our friends. We were all ready so we started to add some finishing touches. Cora, Regina and Zelena's mom isn't into pictures so we almost got the clear until their dad comes up.

"Dad, come on we have to go!" Regina laughs, as her dad pulls out his phone.

"Just one picture." He laughs, snapping a pic of us all hugging each other. Regina and Zelena go over to hug their dad, giant smiles on their faces.

"Bye Mr. Mills!" I exclaim walking out of the house with my friends behind me to be met by blue orbs. Just that moment the whole world stopped and it felt like it was just me and the man I love. A slight smirk forms on his face as he look at me like I'm the only person in the world and I do the same, not bothering to move from my spot. His hair combed losely to the side like it usually is. Today he ditched his usual comfy laid back outfits and had on a nice suit. But the thing I noticed the most was his eyes, gleaming with happiness and love.

Our moment abruptly came to a stop when I felt an arm link with mine and pull me closer to Killian, because clearly I couldn't do so myself. She actually pulled me with so much force I got thrown into his chest, and for some odd reason, today of all days, we start acting like each other's secret crushes, lovestruck little teenagers. Well I mean we are teenagers, but you know what I mean. I wrap my arms around his waist and squeeze tight, not letting go. He kisses the top of my forehead and we look to the side and see Robin and Regina being all cute too, rubbing their noses together and giggling like crazy people. But Zelena on the other hand, she was stuck with the nerd Hades. We noticed him starting to lean in.

I bite my lip trying not to laugh as she slides a little closer to her sister. But it wasn't working at all. I hide my face in Killian's shoulder and he leans in to whisper something for only me to hear, "you cut quite the figure in that dress, Swan." I look up at him and smile wide, as a blush creeps up my cheeks.

"You're not too shabby yourself." I whisper back kissing his cheek and pulling everyone into the limo. Zelena quickly sat between me and Gina, not wanting to be near Hades. The entire ride we laughed and joked around, but to be honest I felt kind of bad for Hades. He was just sitting there, totally uncomfortable. We were talking inside jokes and stuff like that. I know if I were in his shoes, I would totally not want to be there.

After a few minutes, we arrived at the school. People were filling in, wearing their fancy gowns. I'm personally really excited for this year's theme, and being the Glee fan I am, Prom-asaurus was the best theme I could ask for at my senior prom.

As we walked into the gym, I stared in awe at the decorations. I mean I thought it was gonna be cool but this, this is amazing! They even have that little dinosaur ride thingy!!!! I slap Killians arm and squeal. He laughs at my crazy fangirling, and as I look to the side, Regina and Zelena were doing the exact same thing. We all laugh and walk further into the gym to see our classmates dancing to the music being played by the DJ.

I link arms with Killian, pulling him towards the punch stand, grabbing both of us a cup. "Thanks, love." he smiles, taking a sip to the punch. He swallows the juice, and chokes a bit on it, chuckling a bit. "Damn, someone already spiked that." I laugh. Right at that moment one of our songs came on, so I decided to ditch the rum infected drink for a dance with my man.

I pull him over to the dance floor, placing my my hands on the back of his neck, his find my waist, we sway to the music, as the lights go dim. The song progresses, and by the middle, our bodies were practically merged together.

"Baby, I'm dancing in the dark with you between my arms. Barefoot on the grass, listening to our favorite song. When you said you looked a mess, I whispered underneath my breath. But you heard it, darling, you look perfect tonight." he whispers. I giggle at his dorkiness. He's such a dork sometimes. At the final line he twirls me around, and the moment we were facing each other again, He pulled me into a kiss. The next son started and we go off to find the rest of the gang.
