Chapter 10

"Miss Nolan you're late." Mr. Gold says sternly as I walk into the classroom a few minutes late.

"Sorry." i mumble quietly sitting in my seat in the front. I can't concentrate on Mr. Gold's lesson. I am friggin exhausted. I just wanna go home and sleep. Maybe I can go to the nurse and go home sick. But I don't really want to.

After first period I have gym. Yay. We are doing bloody football. I hate football. Well playing it, not watching it. I changed into my short shorts and my Penn State t shirt. 

As I head out of the locker room I search the crowded gym for my friends.

"Hey." robin smiles my way.

"Hi guys." i fake a smile and sit next to them.

"Did you hear anything from Liam?" Zelena asks out of nowhere. I exhale heavily. God I don't want to talk about this.

"Nope he fled. Took his brother and fled to Ireland and didn't contact me so here I am alone again." I sarcastically smile and bury my face in my hands. 

"He said it was my frickin fault! Like seriously! I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy, let alone the love of my life, but he had to be all 'our father contacted us and wanted to meet us' and he cut off all contact!" i huff angrily.

"Well he contacted me and Emma, he's fine." robin places a hand on my shoulder. "And we kinda have a surprise for you." he smiles mischievously.

"What now?" i groan.

"We got you excused from gym-- don't ask -- and you can go." Regina states making me laugh. "So go!" she screams.

I stand up and run out of the gym.

Classes started, so the hallways were empty. I ran through practically every hallway. Nothing was to be seen or heard. All I could hear was the sound of my feet hitting the ground.

Were they lying. Or did I miss something. I decided to head to my locker and get a book or something. I do have a whole period to pass.

As I approach my locker I notice something stuck to it. A note. "Hey Em, It's your buddies here, well technically only Robin cause I'm writing it but we just have some instructions for you, if you complete these tasks you will be led to the surprise I hope I mentioned during gym class. Bloody hell I think I need another post-it. Ok turn to the next post-it." i chuckle and get the second one, "Ok now that we are on the next note, first I want you to get your keys, then I want to get in your damn car and drive to the beach, the one we love, you know with the rocks that look like Donald Trump, you know what I'm talking about. Anyway, you are gonna go there and you are gonna sit in our spot and watch the line where the sky meets the sea and you are gonna enjoy it. Now go! We love you Em&Em!!" i whispered the last part and laughed a bit. I have the best friends anyone could ever ask for.

So I am gonna follow their specific orders and take this time to myself to enjoy this one moment.

When I found the rock, our spot. We did everything there, spin the bottle, our first sips of alcohol, even our first kisses. So there I sat in our spot and stared at the ocean. I layed down and closed my eyes, just listening to the water hit the rocks. It was very relaxing.

"Yeah you know this is a really great view, I always loved the ocean." I heard a familiar voice behind me and my jaw drops.
