I miss you.
It has been years,
and I'm supposed to have moved on,
But I just can't—
Life without you feels
so wrong.
I need you.
My breath hitches
and my heart
clenches in my chest.
My lungs burn with the need to
take a breath—
But I can't.
I can't.
I love you.
You aren't here,
and nothing seems right.
My days seem gloomy now—
No more cheerful and bright.
I don't know how
I will live like this.
All I know, is
I miss you.
