JORIE POV

The night went great. I got pasta and he got sea food with pasta. He tried to get me to eat it but I hate seafood so there was no way I was going to.

We were there for about an hour, more talking than enjoying the meal. We started talking about my sister.

"Cameron I'm fine. I try not to bring it up anymore than I have to so please not right now" I said taking a bite.

"I'm sorry it's just hard for me to talk about you or your past if I don't know anything about it."

I felt bad because I was so over talking about my feelings but I knew it hurt him. "She was the best sister I could have ever had or deserved." He lifted his head, looking right in my eyes.

"I remember on Christmas mornings she would make chocolate and banana pancakes and bring them up for me and my mom. She thought she surprised us every time but the smell always woke us up." I smiled thinking about it. "I really miss those pancakes."

"I will make you pancakes."

"It's not just the pancakes, it was her excitement Cam, when she brought them to us. She watched our every bite."

"I'm sorry Jor" he said grabbing my hand.

"She was 16 but was mature like a 20 year old" I could feel the tears start to form. I held them back. "Please don't hesitate."

"What do you mean?"

"I mean don't hesitate or question everything you do in life. Just do it to be weird or crazy because your alive and having fun."

Cameron smiled and leaned in towards me, "Everything I do in life is unexpected babe, like you. Who knew I was going to meet a simple girl, with problems out of this world that I get to help fix. My life mission is to make you as happy as you could ever be. I never hesitated, I knew."

He kissed me light on the lips before returning to his meal.

Once we finished, we drove around the city for a while. We stopped at this small antique shop.

When I walked in I could smell the old wooden shelves and I could feel the mustiness in the air. There was a young girl working the register. An old little lady with white hair walked out of what looked like a storage room.

"Well hello there. Can I help you kids with anything special?"

I was about to say no thankyou before Cameron interrupted, "actually yes. Do you have any jewelry?" I looked at Cameron and he just smiled.

"Yes of course right over here. No wedding rings though if that's what your looking for."

"No, just rings."

"We have a few here that I really like" the old lady said taking out a old wooden box. It had flowers carved into the top that were yellow, green and pink.

"Those are great. Hey Jorie can you go look over there" Cameron said pointing towards some books shelves.

I rolled my eyes and walked away.

CAMERON POV

I picked one out that was silver with some things engraved on the band with small purple jewels all around. It wasn't the right time tonight so I am going to give it to her some other time.

I gave the lady cash and bought the ring. I walked over to the book shelf and found Jorie sitting on the ground leaned against it reading an old novel.

"Is it good?" I asked startling her.

"Well considering all the words I don't know, ya it's pretty good." She replaced the book back on the shelf and left the small antique shop.

"So what did you buy?" She asked getting into the car.

"Uh nothing."

"Mhm, okayy Cam" she said kissing me on the cheek. "Lets go back to the apartment I just want to chill now."

We headed back to Nash's apartment. I left the ring in the car because I had a feeling she would find it if I brought it in.

We walked in and set the leftovers on the counter.

"So where's Nash this fine evening?" She asks removing her heels.

"Did I hear my name?" Nash walks in opening the leftover box looking inside. "yum shrimp."

"You can have it if you leave us alone" I say pushing the box towards him.

"Deal." He takes the box and walks back to his room.
