ARTEMIS DIDN'T end up seeing Larry again until the next day. She had pondered over the conversation between her and her brother one times too many and had eventually decided that it was taking up too much headspace and directed her mind elsewhere.

She made her way down the corridors of the museum she called home in search of her newer friend, her boots making little noise. "Hey," She waved whilst grinning at the young Native American children that she had spoken with on many occasions.

"Ah, Artemis. I am beginning to fear that we may have the beginnings of a problem on our hands." Teddy and Texas had trotted comfortably up to her side. "What?" She asked, turning her head slightly but continuing to walk alongside him.

"Our Lawrence doesn't seem too sure on the path he's meant to go on. And we lost one of ours last night." His tone didn't sound good at all. She whipped her head around suddenly to look at him.

"What? Who? Who's lost?" She gasped, worried.

"One of the poor cavemen. I am regretful to say that he stepped outside for too long." He informed her.

"Shit." She cursed, before making an apologetic face in return to Teddy's frowning one. It was the first time in a long while that an exhibit had wondered out.

She passed a clock on the wall, and came away surprised. "Huh, that's weird. We're normally up a little while earlier than that."

Teddy shrugged, brushing it off.

"As for Larry, I'm gonna see if I can get in contact with him, maybe I can use the reception phone." She sighed, before turning off on a different direction to Teddy.

Artemis was about to turn off to a different road when she heard someone rattling the grate, this was soon mixed in with Larry's voice.

Artemis drew out her bow, stalking to the Egyptian exhibit. She lay down arms when she saw Larry and a young boy being backed into the back of the lengthy room by the two colossal jackal statues.

"Oh my god, Artemis!" He shouted, gratefully. Artemis grinned and took a few steps back before sending a good kick into the grate, her boots reaching it's point of contact.

It didn't work out and she felt a sharp pain in her heel.

"Crap." She breathed in through her teeth.

"Get the pharaoh out!" She shouted, slipping her small dagger into the lock.

"What? No! That's a terrible idea!" Larry shouted back. Artemis rolled her eyes, but grinned when the lock clicked and she flung open the grate. One of the jackals turned to her as she loaded her bow. "Do it, Larry, if you want to get out of here in one piece with your son! He's the only one to control these things!" She screamed.
