After that eventful voyage, I met up with Dumbledore at the pet shop and found my way back home. It has been I week since then. Now I'm here packing for my new sschool.I was freaking out. Throwing random things into my suitcase, I kept asking my mom questions.
"Why do you want me to go?"
"You need to learn about the Wizarding world to control your powers." She answered.
"Do you have any siblings? Have you talked to any of them?"
"I had two brothers, Regulus, my twin and Sirius, my older brother. I haven't spoken to any of them." For reasons.
"What kind of names are those?"
"They were named after constellations and stars."
"Why weren't you named after one?"
"I was, I just changed my name for personal reasons."
"What was it?"
"Estella, Stella, the Latin word for star. I believe that's all, right? I'm sorry we don't have much."
I don't want to leave. You want me to leave; do you hate me that much? Please don't make me leave; I want to stay with you.
"Pierce, listen to me, I'll miss you so much. I just don't want you to be in danger and I believe that Hogwarts is the best place for that. Do not hate me for this. You have so much potential; I've seen it when you were young. Especially with who your father-"
"Who was my father?" I cut her off.
"Pierce, please, not for now." She pleaded.
I pursed my lips, silent tears pouring out of my eyes. I looked up to my mother to find her crying too. Don't cry; it hurts me.
"I love you so much, Pierce." She whispered.
I love you too.
"Yeah."
I was back in the living room, suitcase to my left. There, Dumbledore stood in all glory. He smiled warmly at me.
"Say goodbye to your mother one last time, you won't be coming back here until Winter break."
"Aren't there other schools I could go to that are closer to home?" I pleaded.
Dumbledore looked at me with kind, gentle eyes.
"Your mother has told me who your father is, and we both agreed that it would be in your best interest to be staying in the castle."
I glanced back at mom, and suddenly ran into her arms.
"I love you mom, so much. I'll miss you. Don't forget me please. Don't let Gabe touch you anymore; you deserve so much better. I love you, I love you..." My words dissolved into a painful sob.
Mom was trying hard not to cry now; she gently pushed me towards Dumbledore. Grabbing my suitcase and gripping onto his arm, I waved her goodbye.
A painful feeling surged through my body, as my whole body was getting squished into a tiny box. The pain tuned down and I fell down, sighing in relief. I looked around me and my eyes grew bigger. What was this place?
