Chapter 9- Just Look At Me

"Kim Nana! What happened to you?" My mother asked as I place my bag on the floor with my crutches,I walk up to her and hugged her tightly.

"What's wrong? Mrs.Kim called me,are you okay?" She mumbled into my ear,I pulled away and looked at her.

"It's nothing,I'm just really tired."

"Oh,you can go rest.I'll make something for you to eat." She said picking up my backpack,I grab my crutches off the ground and made my way upstairs.I face plant into my soft bed and rolled over,I felt so relieved to be home.

I still had to go to school even when my ankle was still recovering,but I can handle it.Everyone was nice enough to help me out,doing the simplest things like holding the door for me.I was really thankful for that,I heard the bell ring and it was finally lunch.I haven't looked at Baekhyun or talked to him all day,he also didn't start a conversation with me.I heard him rise from his seat and walk away,I looked at the door and saw his sleeve disappear.

He didn't seem to want to talk to me either,what was I hoping for?

I heard music and was interested in where the sound came from.I stood up with my crutches,I followed the sound and saw two guys dancing in a room together.I stood at the door and peeked inside,I saw Kai and Lay dancing in sync.It was amazing,I never knew Lay was also good at dancing.I have heard a few rumors that Kai is a dance god,now I know they were true.

I walked in slowly and they both stop and turned to see me,they had sweat covered all over their faces.

"Nana! Annyeong!" Lay said walking towards me.

I smiled."Annyeong Lay,you were really good." He wiped his cheek and looked away.

"G-gomawo Nana." He stuttered.

"Yah! Nana!" Kai said running towards me with his arms wide open,he suddenly hugs me and the smell of his sweat was all over me.I felt his sweat on my cheeks,I moved my face away from him.

I struggle and he let go of me. "Yah! Kai,why did you do that?!" I said wiping his sweat off my cheeks,I heard him chuckle.

"Ahh,Kai always does that to me.I see your his new target." Lay said with a smile.I frowned but faded into a devilish smile."I'll get you back Kai." I said as Kai shots a look back.

"Ha! You can't,your just Nana."

"Just you wait." I whispered.

"Nana,let's eat lunch together.Huh?" Lay asked.

"Nae,kaja." I said as Lay followed,I looked back to see Kai not coming with us.

"He will come later,he's just cleaning up." Lay said with a nod,I nodded back in response and we continued to walk in the quiet hallway passing my classroom.I slightly moved away from Lay to give him space to walk,these clutches take up to much space.

"Kwanchana? Why are you moving farther away from me?" He asked as I flinched.

I sighed and managed to keep up with his pace."I wanted to give you room to walk,I feel like I'm taking to much space with these." He intertwined his arms with mine.

"W-w-wae?" I said surprised at what he had just done,he smiled and tightened his grip.

"What if you fall and I'm not there to catch you? Nana,you need to think." He said as I felt my cheeks heat up.

"But I have these.." I said pointing to the crutches,he pouted.

"I don't care about those,you trust those? Well,I don't." He stated.

I laughed."Fine,have it your way.When we head out you have to let go of my arm,nae?" He didn't respond after I said that,I see he's giving me the silent treatment.

"Lay,ummm." I said slowly.

"Nana,will you go on a date with me...?" He said as I looked into his eyes,they were full of sincerity.

"N-nae?" I said holding onto my crutches nervously,I didn't know what to say..this is so sudden.

I told myself to forget about Baekhyun,this might be a good thing for me.To forget Baekhyun,Lay is a really nice guy and he treats me so well.

"Mianhae,I just..." He let go of my arm,he looked away in embarrassment.

"Ani,Lay...I will go out with you." My words spilled out,its my chance to fall in love with someone new.I felt the weight was lifted of my chest,he stared back in amusement.

"Jinja? you will?"

I nodded."Yes." I said clearly,he smiled.

"I'll wait till your ankle heals,you can decide when we can." He said.He then linked his arms around mines again,I felt the heat rush to my cheeks.

Can I fall in love with Lay?

-Baekhyun's POV-

"Yah,pass me the ketchup." Sehun mumbled eating his food,Tao passed the ketchup to him as we all continued to eat.

Nana didn't talk to me all day,is she avoiding me? I haven't looked at her all day,I was afraid if I did my face would've turned red and she would know right away that I liked her.

"It's Lay!" Suho said as we all looked to see Nana and Lay together linking arms,I felt my heart sink.She looked happy with Lay,they looked like a couple.I looked away and continued to eat.

"Annyeong Lay,wheres Kai?" D.O asked.

"He said he's coming after he cleans up." Lay said sitting down as Nana sat beside me.

We all ate and talked to each other,except me who just ate and didn't pay much attention to anyone except Nana who was eating quietly beside me.
