"Steph.. I thought we had something.. You can't just leave me. You can't just forget me.." His blond hair was soaked with blood, and his eyes made me shiver. The normally so deep and loving eyes of his were sad and tears were trickling out of them.
"We do, I love you." I call, and let my hand catch the falling tears. They were cold like ice, making me shiver. His hands join mine, and his lips softly collide with my lips. I could feel my dry lips getting damp from the red body fluid, but I didn't care. I pull him to me, and he smiles inside our kiss.
"I have missed you, Stephanie. I thought I had lost you.." He whispers and the dream begins to fade away.
"NO!" I scream. My voice echoes through the house, and I can feel my cheeks burn from another wave of salty tears washing over them.
"Steph." I could hear Calum's worried voice, followed by my mother's light footsteps.
"Baby." She calls me, and pulls me into a deep hug.
"It's was him.. Him. I miss him. Why is he gone?" I whisper while my eyes fill with liquid again.
"Ssh. It's gonna be okay, honey. It's gonna be okay." She keeps chanting, and I know it is also to comfort herself.
"What is going on?" Calum exclaims. I flash him an angry glare, making him shift away and he shoots back to his room.
"Steph!" My mother frowns at me, as she catches my glare.
"It's none of his business." I mumble, but immediately feel sorry. I turn my back to my mother, and drift into an uneasy but dreamless sleep.

"You look like shit, Stephanie." I hear Layla exclaim, and her cheery laughter fills the courtyard.
"I know.." I say, but join in with her laughter. After waking up after a short night's rest, my normally already very prominent dark circles under my eyes were literally shouting Did not sleep one minute. My face looked terrible, and I needed to agree with Layla.
"And aren't you meeting with Luke in the afternoon?" Layla winks at me, and I frown. Looking terrible wouldn't really help.
"I guess, but I don't think he will want that after seeing me." I joke.
"Oh, he will not. He would never turn down milkshakes." Layla giggles, and I hit her playfully on the shoulder.
"Steph- Oh my God! What happened?" Luke blurts out, and his eyes travel up and down my face.
"I was so excited for today; I didn't sleep a second last night." I wink at him, and he chuckles.
"Well, then I need to live up to the expectation." He licks his bottom lip, slightly twirling his lip ring.
"She just had a bad dream, Luke, or do you want to her to wake up screaming 'No!' after dreaming of you?" Calum grumbles, and I flash him a glare.
"Really? What was it about?" Luke asks, completely flying over Calum's hideous attempt to annoy me.
"Oh nothing in particular." I try to shrug it off, but Calum's eyes hang to my eyes, catching my lie easily, and he rolls his eyes.
"Sure." I hear him whisper, barely audible. He looks away quickly after starring into my eyes a second too long.
"Hey, Layla!" Michael, one of the boys from yesterday at lunch, calls after his girlfriend.
"Hey, babe." She mumbles while she nestles in his neck.
"Woah, guys! PDA!" Luke laughs and I laugh with him. He sounds so happy and worry-less, and he softy pulls my hand into his. They are warm, and make me feel safe. Just what I needed right now.
