☆~~~Akashi's P.O.V~~~★
She's...OBLIVIOUS. Up until now those who dared to defy me received a painful reminder. She does not seem to know who she is defying. The consequences of oblivion are not to be taken lightly. I shall, however, wait until the day she--who dared to defy me--understands the consequences of her actions, and when that day arrives, I shall no longer stand on ceremony to show her where she stands.
If I could alter her to suit me, then she would be perfect--perfection is but an illusion humans create in order to avoid the imperfections of things. Nevertheless, winners are perfect beings, victors are given all there is to enjoy in life, the defeated are denied all.
I felt my mouth quirk into a smirk, the thought of winning the bet--which is a given--and claiming the reward that comes with it leaves me as excited as a beast.
Cho, did you know? You have been my pet since the moment we made that bet...
☆~~~Cho's P.O.V~~~★
I've been getting this feeling that I've fallen prey to Akashi's schemes, but I won't let it happen no matter what! I'm not perfect, no one is--He IS NOT perfect for sure. But I get this feeling that I'm about to be proven wrong...? I never gave myself the chance to understand him, maybe I should, but he's not worth it...
"Cho! Go get dressed; guests are visiting in a couple of minutes!" I hear my mother yell--Sheesh, just when I thought I'd have some time to myself on a weekend after the horrible events that occurred in school.
A kimono was neatly laid out on the futon as I entered my washitsu(A/N: Traditional Japanese room) Japanese traditions were quite plain compared to modern--western ones, but I still love Kimonos, though I wish they replaced futons with western styled beds, my back could use that leisure.
"Be sure to pour tea for the guest." My mother instructed as soon as she saw I had gotten dressed. It was weird, just how important was this so called 'guest'? Usually she'd just order a maid to pour tea and hide me out of existence, but today she didn't...Does she have a fever? Well, whatever. The sooner this is over, the faster I'll get to relax.
"It's good to see you again!" I hear Mother greet the guest brightly through the genkan(A/N: Entrance) as I prepared the tea.
"Cho!" She calls and I quickly arrange the needed utensils on the tray neatly.
I sit on my knees, place the tea tray next to me and slowly slide the fusuma(A/N: Sliding door) "Excuse my intrusion." I say while looking up to inspect the guest; he is a man with dark brown hair that could pass for red. Probably a few years older than my mother from the looks of it. Somehow he reminds me of someone, the aura he gives off... Whatever, it doesn't matter right now.
"Cho, this is..." She introduced but I was too engrossed in my thoughts to catch his name. From her reaction though, he's probably an old family friend, maybe that's why he seems so familiar...? Or at least that's what I thought until he said:
"Excuse my son's rudeness. He was supposedly coming with me but, due to previous engagements, he could not."
As I poured the tea...Did he just say SON?! You've gotta be kidding me...! But it's not like Akashi is the only freaking guy on earth! I need to start thinking logically and not in a narrow minded way for once!
