I wake up early write a letter to Erika telling her I'm going out and I'll be back soon. Got dressed and headed to Tessa's room.
*knocks*
T: what do you want Jake
J: I need to talk to you and your friend Tristan.
T: come in
I walk in and we sit down.
T: why do you need to talk to us.
J: I have a question but you both need to be here.
T: um okay lemme call him.
J: alright
Tessa's Pov
I call Tristan and as soon as he answered Jake got really nervous.
TT: hey Tessles
T: hey Trissels
TT: Who's that in the back
T: oh that's Erikas boyfriend Jake
TT: he looks like he's scared
T: well he might be or not because he won't tell me anything until he talks to you
TT: first off where's Erika
J: uuuh um she is in our dorm room
TT: you guys share a room
J: yeah
TT: so what do you need
J: okay so I know Erika is really scared to tell you this I mean it took her almost a week to tell Tessa
T: yeah Tristan you should sit down
TT: okay I'm sitting down now tell me what's going on
Jake's Pov
I'm just scared to tell him myself and it's not even happening in me.
J: okay I'm going to say it really fast
TT: okay bro just say it
J: Erika has stage 2 brain cancer
He froze
TT: what
J: she has-
TT: um okay I'm hoping what you are about to tell me next is good news.
J: well you and Tessa are the 2 closest people to Erika and she has no one but us 3 and my brother Logan and my bestfriend Chance A.K.A Tessa's boyfriend
T: get to the point Jake
J: I want to marry Erika
Tess:Tristan: oh my god
J: and i want your blessing since I kinda can't ask her dad.
T: I 100% approve
J: really?!
T: really
I sigh of relief hoping for the same answer from Tristan.
TT: I don't know Tessa
My heart dropped
T: you don't understand Tristan he makes her happier than ever and you know Erika and how tough her life has been ever since her and Jake happened it's like she was brought back to life.
TT: well of this is true I approve but if you break her heart I will fucking kill you.
