Chapter 3 

" Be quiet , Andrew you're gonna wake her up." i heard someone whisper, most likely Kelsey.

" Okay now 1..2 ..3 " i heard her say again.

" HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" I heard everyone yell at me as i slowly opened my eyes to reveal them all standing in front of me with smiles on.

" awnn thanks you guys." i said groggily pulling my mom , dad, brother, and best friend into one big group hug.

" OK sweetie get dressed and come downstairs for your birthday present." my dad said warmly at me.

i looked good, not trying to be cocky but i did. i had on a white crop top with a long plum shirt and my black sandals with my gold chains on and my hair was in a big fluffy bun. i looked kind of edgy today. 

Holy shit.

I'm 16 today, this is the day that every werewolf counts down to their whole life. today was the day i finally found my wolf and changed into her. but more importantly its the day i find my mate. Even though he has broken my heart, i want Jake to be my mate so badly.

he was my childhood best friend turned boyfriend. he made all my flaws seem like reasons to love me. he really did seem like my other half.

" LACEY YOU READY YET." i heard Kelsey yelling from the other side of the door.

" ha ha yes Kels."

she opened my door and gasped at me.

" awwnn my little baby is growing up so fast." she said making me blush a little.

" Shut up Kels, plus I'm older than you." 

" Oh hush and you look hot."

" alright lets just go downstairs."

I grabbed my purse and sprayed on some perfume and was ready to live out my birthday to the fullest.

" OK so me and your mother thought about it and , here you go sweetie." my dad said handing me a pair of keys.

" Holy crap, you guys got me a frickin car." i said screaming and jumping.

i ran outside to see, a cute little white, toyata.

" Thank you guys sooo much, i love you." i practically yelled running up them.

Me and Kelsey , hopped in soon after to go to the mall to pick up my dress.

" Okay hun your done." my moms friend Christie said as she finished my hair and makeup.

i looked at my self my big blonde curls straightened to a paper thin line. my make up was light and  had a pink undertone to it all around making me appear rosy. which was perfect to go along with my white dress i was wearing tonight.

See next to my wedding, tonight was going going to be the biggest night of my life. to were wolfs this is what a Hispanic quinces is. i was a woman now, and my parents knew it. after tonight i was no longer going to be little ladybug, or baby girl, because soon they knew i was going to be a mom and a wife to my mate. and i was starting to get a little nervous about it all really. i always knew in my heart that when this day comes i was going to have to throw my life away.

i was walking through my party as i just finished dancing with Kelsey and some other friends. i really regretted not picking up another to wear because i was sweating like a monster under here. i couldn't even go home to change because instead of throwing it on pack grounds , my parents rented out a place for me because i had alot of human friends that i wanted to come to my party.

 i went up to the bar to order a drink to cool me off, until the smell of lemons and pine hit my nose.

Mate 

a little voice screamed inside my head.

Crap, my mate is hear.

i looked everywhere searching for him following the scent until i saw him. he was tall, muscular, tan,and hot. everything a girl could hope for in a mate. But he wasn't Jake, the one i hoped for.

i felt one tear fall down my cheek , then i felt more until  my vision was eventually blinded by my tears. i ran the other way once i saw him start to sniff around , which means he found me.

i made it to hall outside the main room, until i was tackled by my huge monster of a mate.

" Who the hell do you think you are." i said trying to make him think that i didn't know.

" I'm your mate." he said with his cool breath fanning across my face.

i felt my throat almost slam shut , he was freaking beautiful , i didn't know it was possible for a face to be so gentle but manly at the same time. 

" umm can you maybe get off of me." i said weakly trying to get over my nerves.

he stood up and held out a hand for me. as i stood next to him i was so freakishly small next to him. i always knew i was short but he made me damn near feel like a child. and i could help but recognize the fireworks that tore through my skin as his hand cupped mine

" how tall are you?" i asked him as looked up at him

" 6'7." he said chuckling at me.

" wow, so whats your name?" i guess i should just accept that he was my mate and get used to it.

" My name is Caleb Waters." he said still with a wide bright smile that was absolutely contagious. 

" Lacey Dakos." i said as we shook hands again, wow this is so awkward. no one really tells you that its not all just gonna happen at once. of course at the bottom of my heart i felt the need for him. but i don't know what to do hug him give him a high five, kiss him. 

Gosh, i;m weird.

" Here's my number call me as soon as you get home OK, i have to leave but don't be scared if you wake up next to me." he said as he grabbed my phone out of my hands.

and with that he was gone

well isn't he fuckin mysterious.

HELLO MA PEOPLE, THIS WAS KINDA A BORING CHAPTER BUT SHE FOUND HER MATE AND BOY IS HE SEXXYYYY

BUT ITS SUMMER TIME FINALLY AND I'M TOO PUMPED , BUT SADLY I HAVE TO DO SUMMER SCHOOL SO I WONT HAVE TO SIT IN GRAPHIC DESIGN FOR A WHOLE YEAR, AND I ONLY MISS A MONTH OF MY SUMMER SO I GUESS ITS OK, PUS I DON'T HAVE ANYTHING TO SO WITH MY LIFE ANYWAY
