Chapter 6 

**Laceys POV**

" What do you mean, you don't know where Kelsey. We are literally in a place crawling with werewolfs and other supernatural things and you let her out of you site, God dammit Andrew!." 

~ 6 hours earlier~

" And that's what happened the whole time on the date. I've never meet someone like him Kels , he so special and smart. And definately SEXY." i said reminiscing on the night with Caleb.

" He sounds like a keeper, Lace I'm so happy for you." said said slightly sadden and happy because she thought back to how hurt i was with Jake.

" HEY LACEY COME UP STAIRS REALLY QUICK."  I heard Andrew yell from all the way upstairs.

i ran up stairs to his icky room.

 " How and the hell do you sleep in here , ewww! i s that a thong." 

" Well the ladies like to keep it freaky( *he winks*) but anyway we need to go to a party tonight."

" What type of party."

" The Slighters are in town and they want us to go the party as a show of no hostility." 

" But how are we supposed to go Kelsey is staying here for the week her parents are out of town."

" Well were just gonna have to take her with us and keep an eye on her."

" Alright , Drew but i swear if she gets hurt I'm gonna chop off your balls alright."

i went back down stairs to find Kelsey in my kitchen making a bowl of cereal at 7 o'clock at night because she totally normal. pshhh

" Hey Kels, you up for another party tonight."

" Hell yea! lets go get dressed, see i knew sophomore year i was gonna go out more! he he maybe i'm a fortune teller." she said about to go on another ramble.

~ 2 hours later ~

We were pulling up to the Slighters place which really was just some cover up honky tonk bar in the middle of no where. The Slighters were a family full of well what the sound like snakes. They were a very ancient species so very powerful. the leader Basilisk, or the king of the serpents. they turned into a repitilian creature on command and could kill with just a single glance.

 Which is why we needed them on our sidde if we were to ever get into an attack of any kind that we needed help with.  So there place was crawling with all types of supernaturals tonight Vampires, demons, witches, warlocks, and any other thing you thought was fake or made up by a story. 

This is also the reason why i was so nervous we were in the party and had brought along Kelsey who was very human and thought that this was just some type of rager party.

" Holy shit Lace this party is freaking awesome, look at how many people are here and plus i think i even saw some college guys!" she was excited about this and had no idea what the hell was going on. i felt like a horrible friend keeping so many secrets from her.

i suddenly felt some one cover my eyes and the scent hit me.

Caleb

i turned around fast and hugged him tightly, i would have kissed him but now that i think back on it we haven't kissed yet, we've only teased each other.

" What are you doing here?" i said with one of the biggest smiles on my face.

" Well my pack heard that the Slighters were in town and we need to discus business." He said with a high smirk on his face.

" Well madam do you want to take this dance with me." he said in a posh British accent that actually wasn't half bad, while also pulling me on to the dance floor.

~~ Andrews POV ~~

I was currently dancing with Kelsey to some crappy pop techno music. She was so beautiful and didn't even notice it. i remember always hearing her coming over and crying to Lacey about being ugly or some other false things like her being fat. But in reality she was actually quite small. She had recently just cut her hair but it didn't matter to me it made her look more mature if you ask me. Only about 5' 4 and had one of the most adorable faces in the world. 

She wasn't your regular sexy. She was the girl that you always see and after a while you cant help but fall for her. Just like me , i had fallen for Kelsey and i knew it was wrong i knew that i had a mate out there somewhere for me and she was my little sisters best friend. But Kelsey was something different. She was funny , witty, and smart. And she never acted like the sluts at school throwing themselves at me she just kinda made me gravitate to her. 

Suddenly this big butch looking guy walked over by us and told me that Basilisk was ready to meet with me. i didn't know where the hell Lacey disappeared to and i couldn't bring Kelsey with me so i told her to lock her self in the bathroom and wait for me and to not come out until i came to get her no matter what. 

Present time

** Laceys POV**

We have searched every corner of this place looking for Kelsey and i don't know where she is or who would have took her. So i was sat on the curb of the street crying i couldn't find my best friend. The only sister i had in my life, it was my fault for leaving her. I could have done so many other things to protect her but instead i lost her at a party full of supernaturals, a world she had no idea about.

" Lacey, baby get up you have to get some rest." Caleb said coming from behind me and picking me up.And i just curled up into his chest. he sat me down in the car and drove to his place i'm guessing because he wasn't going to my house. i just stared out of the window looking for any sign of Kelsey.

We finally pulled up to a massive house, which I'm guessing is his pack house.

" Alright Lacey, i'm going to grab someone to come and help you get you settled in okay." Caleb said as he disappeared into the large house. Only about 2 minutes later a girl who look about my age came out of the house to help me i guess. 

" Please this way Luna." She said politely, oh such a nice girl.

Wait a minute did she just call me Luna.

holy shit he's a god damn Alpha.
