Chapter 1

 “Lacey wake up!” my brother yelled at me from my doorway.

“Shut up Andrew and leave.” I said groggily I mean it was 6 o clock in the morning and I honestly don’t like waking up.

 “Just hurry up it’s the first day of my junior year and I will leave you if you’re not down stairs by 6:45.”

Well okayyy

I sat up on my bed and zombie walked to the bathroom that Andrew and I shared since it was in-between our rooms. I took a shower and brushed my teeth in a record breaking 15 minutes. I rushed back to my room and put on the outfit that Kelsey, my best friend, picked out for me yesterday. Which were these really cute shorts, a white shirt that said ‘Cali’ and my white converses.

I quickly fluffed out naturally blonde locks and ran down stairs to grab breakfast before Andrew threw another one of his hissy fits and went all ‘ I’m future alpha and you have to listen to me’ mode.  Yup, that’s right I’m a werewolf. To be more specific I’m the Alphas daughter so you can basically tell that I have never had any guys over because either my dad or my brother was going to rip them to shreds.

I grabbed a granola bar and some coffee that was already in the fridge and ran out the house to hop in my idiotic brothers’ car before he could even yell at me for being late. I soon saw him running out of the house like normal.

It took us about 30 minutes to get to school but in that time I thought about it everything is going to be different. In so many ways I was turning 16 this year, this was the year I was supposed to find my mate.

If you don’t know a mate is a completion to a wolf, their your soul mate, your everything, you love them so much instantly that you can’t breathe without them. I can’t wait for it to happen either I want to feel the unconditional love of my dream man, I want to have little pups and have them call me mom. I want it all  , I know you’re thinking that I’m way too young to even think about it but for werewolf’s it was really common for teenage pregnancy to be a thing once we find our mates we turn into little horn balls and can’t stop doing the nasty with each other.

 I hopped out of the car after Andrew pulled into his ‘special spot’ which really was just by the front entrance of the school under a tree so his black leather seats wouldn’t get messed up. He walked up to his stupid jock friends that were always in front of the school, while I walked to my locker to meet Kelsey.

Kelsey was someone different all in herself she was funny , crazy, and sometimes flat out weird. But I loved her like a sister. Being raised in a house of all boys she was my escape from home. Like last year when I was going through that awkward teenage phase where my body was weird looking to myself and I was worried about boys not liking me she was there to tell me I was being stupid about it.

“Lace, hurry up I wanna get good seats for the pep rally!” the crazed lady yelled as she ran down the hall scooping my arm in hers on the way.

“Kelsey, I feel like I’m going completely insane.”  I said to her over the phone.

“Why is that?”

“Because, I‘m doing it again. I’m stalking him again, did you know he went to Ambers back to school party tonight, he’s tweeting about it.”

“Gosh Lacey get a grip on your life everyone from school is there but us.”

“Well do you wanna go?”

“I thought you would never ask.” I could hear the evil smirk in her voice

We hung up the phone and I went to my closet to pick out an outfit for tonight, because I know I said I was going to change and stop worrying about him but I needed to see him. I needed to see him because I was still in love with him no matter how bad he broke my heart.
