Hey Upper East Siders,
For those of you not at the Waldorf's this afternoon for the amazing party, I'll fill you in. S and Lonely Boy are keeping close to each other, practically inseparable. Bass and Golden Boy are taking the energy of the party (and alcohol) into their own hands. Blair is keeping herself (and her minions) occupied as she keeps this back to school party as exciting as she can. Keeping you posted,
Gossip Girl.Blair's POV:
I huffed, "Seriously, Penelope? You can't tell the difference between macaroons and macarons? I need you to go back to the bakery and get more macarOOns, quickly!" I hurried her away with a huff, stepping out of the dining room and into the living room spotting S and Dan getting a bit too comfortable across the room. I scrunched up my nose, walking towards the two of them. "I know it's been a year, but I am still not used to the two of you constantly being with each other."
Dan let out a soft breath, "Yeah I don't think you ever will," he said as Serena nudged him lightly. I turned to look at her with a small pout.
"You know, I am starting to miss my best friend," I said as she sighed weakly, grabbing my hand gently.
"Let's talk for a second?" she said leading me back through the dining room and to the kitchen. "Blair, it's been a year since something else-"
"Don't you dare!" I snapped at her. "I don't want another pity speech. I don't-"
"You do miss her, Blair. It's obvious. I would miss my sister too if she left. And I know this is a second time thing for you," she said with a sheepish grin before letting out a soft sigh. "Has your mother heard from her?"
I shook my head. "My father has, but he promised her he wouldn't tell a word about what she was doing. She's safe, so that's all that matters I guess," I said looking down at my hands. "God I need a mani," I breathed out with a small laugh, Serena joining me.
"I just want to make sure you're okay. Just keep your head up. Go dance with Nate," she said playfully nudging me over as I smiled at her. "You're right, I planned this party, I should enjoy it," I said happily walking over to the boys.
Madison's POV:
I smiled widely, happily stepping out of the plane as one of the stewardess handed me my bag, "Welcome to New York, Miss.Waldorf," she said as I giggled, grabbing my glasses from my bag.
"I think you mean, welcome back," I said before quickly going over to baggage claim, sending my dad a quick text that I had arrived home safely. I went to grab my suitcases, hearing whispering around me. Yup, I was certainly back to the Upper East Side. I called for a cab to take me to the penthouse, quickly putting my things away and getting in the car before anyone could see.
Once I arrived to the building, I pursed my lips, seeing a group of Constance students. I shrugged it off, grabbing my bag along with unloading my suitcases from the trunk before going upstairs, hearing gasps as I walked by. Please, these people fed off Manhattan's gossip. It was pathetic. I sighed, hearing the students talk among themselves before the elevator doors closed. I ringed for our penthouse, hearing a familiar voice answer my call.
"Yes? Who is this?" I heard her speak as I smiled widely.
"Dorota!" I squealed as she gasped through the phone, quickly letting me up.
"I-I cannot believe- Miss. Madison?!" she said in shock as I giggled, letting go of the call button as the elevator continued up.
Blair's POV:
I walked back out of the kitchen, finally having the macaroons I needed. I was shocked to see everyone on their phones. Nate was the first one to approach me, "You might want to see this.." he said softly as I took his phone from him, my eyes widened in shock.
Spotted: Princess M has finally come home
to retrieve her throne. Last we saw of her was a year ago. Why did she leave and why did she come back? All we know is that she certainly went somewhere sunny; and it did her justice. -ggGasps filled the room as everyone turned
to the elevator. My eyes softened at the sight of her. My little sister looking as if she ran away to the freaking Bahamas. I cleared my throat, "The party is over!" I quickly yelled out, people scurrying to grab their things as they pilled out slowly. Madison quickly got out of their way, setting her things down. Nate laced his fingers with mine, both him and Chuck just looking at her in udder shock. I turned to look at Serena and she had the same expression. Madison smiled cheekily."Perhaps I owe you guys an explanation."
