Madison's Pov:
I smiled widely, Nate and I lounged by his pool as we talked. "No but do you remember in third grade- when we did The Little Mermaid," I squealed as he laughed.

"Oh god please don't remind me-" I laughed.

"You wanted to be Prince Eric so bad but Ms.Potterson casted you as Scuttle," I said, leaning back in my seat.

"Well yeah, better then Flounder," he said playfully pushing my arm as I giggled.

"I was adorable in that costume," I teased as he chuckled.

"You really were," he breathed out. I hummed, reaching out for his hand as I squeezed it gently. He smiled, "I haven't been this happy in a while," he whispered as my heart fluttered lightly.

"I haven't either," I breathed out, sitting next to him on the lounge chair as he cuddled me close. We were about to kiss when Serena barged in.

"I can't stand them!" Serena groaned as we both turned to look at her. She sat down with a huff as I smiled weakly at her.

"Is it B and C?" I said as she nodded.

"They've practically kicked me out of the house," she groaned. Dan came behind as I smiled at him. I turned to look at Nate.

"Well you can stay with us," Nate said, knowing what I was thinking. I pecked his nose happily. Serena aww'd as she hugged the both of us.

"We won't be loud if you won't," she teased as both of our eyes widened. I blushed.

"U-Uh yeah," I giggled as Nate kissed my shoulder softly. I got up, helping Serena and Dan with their new guest room.  Nate met me at the staircase, opening his hand for mine as I smiled widely, taking it.

"The White Party is this afternoon. I was wondering if you'd care to join me," he said as I smiled widely.

"Are you kidding me? I'd love to," I said going over  to peck his lips happily. He led me down the stairs.

"Isn't this party usually around the end of summer...?" I said as he nodded.

"Well yeah, but since my mom and your mom are hosting it, I asked them to move it up more so we could be able to attend," he said as I furrowed my brows.

"Why? Where are we going?" I said with a wide smile as he reached in his pocket for the two tickets. My eyes brightened.

"No! Are we really going to Paris!" I squealed as he chuckled.

"Well one part of it was me trying to be romantic. The other was that your dad found out about us and he wanted to see it for himself," he chuckled as I happily jumped into his arms.

"Nate this amazing! Thank you so much," I breathed out, kissing his lips happily. We were interrupted when I heard the front door swing open. My eyes softened seeing Chuck and Blair standing their. I slowly slid out of Nate's arms. Blair and I talked, I mean, she said it was fine. It's not like she didn't have a new boy toy. Nate grabbed my hand, smiling weakly at me. Chuck pursed his lips.

"We wanted to take the limo to the party as a group. But I mean, clearly the two of you aren't ready," he muttered seeing Nate was just in a pair of shorts and I was in a sun dress. I blushed as Nate nodded slowly.

"Well Serena and Dan are still getting ready. We'll get ready," he said as he lead me up the stairs. I got dressed in a white silk dress that ended mid thigh . Nate walked out in an unbuttoned white shirt with loose fitting white jeans. I smirked widely at him as he looked over me intently.

"Wow you look stunning," he whispered as I smiled widely at him, my cheeks turning a cheeky pink as I reached for his hand.

"You look as handsome as ever," he said before handing me a beautiful red rose. I happily walked back downstairs with him. Everyone was waiting in the limo as we all went to the party. I was playing with Nate's fingers, looking up to see Chuck just staring at me. I smirked, leaning up to kiss Nate. We arrived at the party, I happily walked with Nate inside. As we mingled with others, I could see Chuck walking over to the both of us. I cleared my throat.

"Um Nate, could you possibly get me something to drink," I said softly as he smiled down at me.

"Yeah of course. I need to talk to my mom real quick anyways," he said pecking my cheek before walking away. Chuck shook his head at me.

"Ah yes, the honeymoon phase. With Nate that lasts a good three months," he taunted as I rolled my eyes.

"What do you want Chuck?" I snapped at him. He chuckled.

"It's not what I want," he said his face inches away from mine before he dipped his head, his lips brushing against my bare shoulder. I frowned. "It's what you want," he whispered huskily.

I harshly pushed him away,"Chuck that's enough," I snapped as he continued to step towards me. I kept on stepping back.

"I know Nate, and I know you guys still haven't done anything together. Don't you want what he had again?" he smirked as I scoffed.

"Please, you mean an empty relationship? Nate likes me Chuck. He actually cares about me," I scoffed. "More than you ever did," I muttered as he grabbed my wrist, harshly pulling me towards him.

"I cared for you Madison. Didn't you notice you were the only girl with my attention for the time!" he snapped. I gasped sarcastically.

"Wow, that must be a lot for you to do Chuck," I snapped bitterly. "You let go of me Chuck. You're the one that went to Blair. And it's because Blair plays those ridiculous games with you. But you enjoy that," I muttered coldly. "Just get away from me. I'm finally with someone who cares for me. I don't need you to ruin it like you did with Blair's chance," I said pushing him harshly, not even noticing the pool was behind him as he fell in, but not before he grabbed me and brought me down with him. I quickly surfaced, seeing his stupid face in front of mine. People were surrounding the pool, laughing. I clenched my jaw. This was the last time he was going to humiliate me. I harshly swung my hand across his face, people gasping as I quickly got out of the pool.

Nate quickly walked up to me, "Babe, you look cold," he said quickly taking off his shirt and leading me to the kitchen. He helped me undress, soft sobs leaving my lips as he slowly placed me in his dress shirt. He dried my tears gently, "What happened?" he spoke as I sighed shakily.

"I-I'm done. Chuck just thinks I'm something to play with. That he can just drop me and pick me up again whenever he's bored," I croaked as Nate rubbed my thigh soothingly.

"Don't you worry about Chuck anymore. He's not gonna bother you," he whispered as he pulled me close to him. I felt safe in his arms. His arms felt like home. I nuzzled close to him, a breath of genuine relief leaving my lips as he rocked me gently. He grabbed a rose from the vase of the kitchen table, handing it to me. "You're beautiful, okay? You're worth so much more than what Chuck may make you feel," he said kissing my forehead as I smiled weakly up at him.

"Thank you Nate," I breathed out softly.
