Falling for Hayes

                                                                                 Chapter 1     

*Maddie's POV*

        "Wait, repeat?" I said tears filling up my eyes.

        "Maddie, we're moving to Canada." my mom says. I try to hold back my tears, but one escapes.

        "No we're not!" I say, even more tears coming.

        "Yes we are. We can't afford-" I cut her off by screaming and running into my room. I lock my door and jump on my bed. All I could do was cry. I was starting to feel tired, and my eye lids were drooping. The next thing I know, I'm woken up by the sound of my phone buzzing. It was Cameron,

        Caam:)-Hey M-dog, what's up?   

Yes, the Cameron Dallas. He's literally my best friend. Yeah I know I'm only 13 and he's like 19 but our family's are best friends so he's like my brother.

        Me- Hey Cam. Nothing much, but i got some bad news...

        Caam:)- What??

        Me- Well, I'm moving to Canada...

        Caam:)- WHAT?! YOU CANT!!!

        Me- I know! I don't want to but my parents are making me.

        Caam:)- OMG IDEA!!!!

He's such a girl sometimes.

        Me- What?

        Caam:)- You can come live with me :D

        Me- OMG YAASSS!!! Can you come over like now so we can talk?

        Caam:)- Yep! On my way!

10 minutes later I here the doorbell go off. I sprint down the steps and fall at the last couple of steps but I'm okay.

        "Hey!" Cam says as i jump into his arms.

        "Hi! Let's go talk to my parents!" I say and he nods. I sit my parents down and Cam starts.

        "So John, Angela," He says to my mom and dad. "I hear you goys are moving to Canada?" They nod and look at me, shocked that I'm not tearing up.

        "Well, I don't want Maddie to move and she doesn't want to either. I'm almost 20 and I have my own house with a lot of room for another person. So we were wondering if Maddie can come live with me?" my parents just look at us.

*Cameron's POV*

        Her parents just look at us. Then they look at each other, then back at us. I look at Maddie who is smiling hopefully at her parents.

        "Well, I don't know..." Angela says. (Angela is obviously her mom.)

        "Mom, please?" Maddie asks, her smile fading.

        "We'll think about it." John blurts. (John is obvi her dad.)

        "Mom, Dad, I know that you will miss me and I will miss you too. But my place isn't Canada. My place is here, in California, with Cameron. Now I know you'll be worried about me but Cameron is very responsible and I know that he'll take really good care of me." she says, then looks at me to back her up.

        "Yeah! And I know that i travel a lot but i will take her with me every where i go and never let her outta my sight." I say. John and Angela exchange looks, while John nods his head in approval.

        "Okay Maddie, you can go live with Cameron.

*Maddie's POV*

        The words 'Okay Maddie you can go live with Cameron' escape my mom's mouth. I jump into Cameron's arms with joy. This is gonna be so fun! Or at least I hope it will...
