chapter 7

**Hayes POV**

Cam's idea was perfect. I'm gonna do it tomorrow.

"Hey guys come here!" Jacob says. We walk over to him. "do you guys wanna have a sleepover?" he says like a 5 year old girl.

"GIRL YAAASSS!" Maddie screams and we all laugh. We look at Cam for approval.

"GUYS OBVI WE ARE! But we should get home to get everyting set up." He says.

"Leggoooo." Maddie grabs my hand and we walk to the limo. When we get in there, Maddie looks really excited.

"CAM!" she yells directly in my ear.

"WHAT?" he yells in my other ear. I'm going to go deaf.

"Can we invite Mahogany?" she says sweetly.

"Yeah. You invite her." he says. I got really confused and she must have saw because she asked me whats wrong.

"You know Mahogany?" I ask.

"Yep. She's like my sister. I've known her and Cam since the day i was born."

"Then why haven't I met you before?"

"Because when i go to see Cam or Mahogany we like hanging out alone to catch up because we never get to see each other."

"Oh." is all I said. UGHHH WHY DO I GET SO NERVOUS AROUND HER?!

*Maddies POV*

Hayes was being really awkward. or maybe I was being awkward. was I being awkward? oh gosh now he probably hates me and-

"Maddie?"

"huh, what?"

"you were just staring at nothing and looked really scared, are you ok?" hayes said. he looked genuinely concerned. awwww.

"yeah im fine thanks" I answer and he puts his arm around me. I blush and take out my phone to text Mahogany.

Me- GANY!!!!!!

I call her Gany because when I was really little I couldn't pronounce her name so I called her Gany and it just stuck I guess.

Gany Is My Bae- MADS!!

Me- COME TO CAMMIES AND SLEEP OVER WITH ME AND THE GUYS!!!!!

Gany Is My Bae- OF COURSE!!!! BE THERE IN 20!!!!

Me- YAAAAAAY

By the time we finish texting we get home.

"Guys Mahoganys coming!" I announce. They all said okay and I went upstairs to change. I looked through my closet and found a Hayes Grier crop top Lauren gave me. I decided to wear it just to flatter Hayes. After I put that on I just put on sweat pants and socks. Then I here the door bell ring.

"NO ONE GET THAT I'M GETTING IT!" I yelled running down the stairs. I open the door to see the prettiest girl I know.

"GANY!"

"MADS!" we hug each other super tightly and I tell her to put her stuff in my room. I went into the kitchen to get something to eat because  I was starving. I walked in and saw Hayes sitting on his phone.

"Sup hot stuff." I say because that's what this girl called him at the fair.

"Nothing. But your shirt is sexy." he smirks.

"oh I don't know about that." I tease.

"Well that hurt." he puts his hand over his heart acting like he was hurt.

"My shirt is absolutely the hottest thing ever." I wink.

"The second hottest thing ever."

"What's the first?"

"You." I blush.

"Just kidding" he says. Now it's my turn to put my hand over my heart and "act" like I was hurt.

"Well that hurt."

"I meant that a girl as pretty as you does not deserve to be called hot. It would be disrespectful to call you hot because you are beautiful." he rapped his arms around my waist and I look up at him.

"Hayes, that was the nicest thing that anyone has ever said to me, thank you so much!!" at this point I was tearing up. I gave him a huge hug and we walked into the tv room together.

"Mads, can I talk to you in your room?" Gany asked.

"Of course!!" we walked into my room, closed the door and sat on my bed.

"Soo... you and Hayes huh?"

"Ummmm heh heh... I don't know.."

"You TOTALLY like him!!!!" she squealed.

"Okay so maybe I do but he'll never like me so there's no point in telling him."

"Oh really? Tell me everything that happened since you met him and I'll tell you if he likes you or not. I know Hayes."

I told her everything from the second I met him. Even the stuff in he kitchen.

"Okay Mads." she says and I wait for her to say something. But instead she hits me over the side of the head.

"WHAT THE HECK?!" I whisper yell because I don't want the boys to hear.

"THAT'S FOR BEING SO OBLIVIOUS! He obviously likes you back. I'm gonna talk to him."

"No don't tell him I like him!!!!!!"

"Alright I won't! let's go."
