Chapter 9

Autumn POV

*********************** Saturday Morning********************

I am awoken by the sound of Chloe and Paige singing 'It's A Girl Party'

"Ugh..shut up" I groan

Instead of doing what I told them, they do the opposite. They sing as loud as they can. " We'll do our hair and nails and dance around in our jammies"

"Okay, now you've woken me up at 8 in he morning. What do you need?" I whine

"Niall is asking if the three of us want to go to the mall in like an hour or so" Paige explains

"Umm... you said Niall asked you?" I guess we're going to the police station today.

"Yeah, but we're not going if you aren't though"

"I would love to"

It's 9:00 and Chlo, Paige and I are ready to leave.

"Okay, get in the car"Niall ushers us and gives me a quick wink

On the way, You and I starts to play on the radio and we all sing along. "You and I, we don't wanna be like them. We can make it 'till the end" We sing

During the song, my phone vibrates , signalling that I received a text.

From: NiallisaCrazyMofo

We're close by. Distract them with something on your phone, so they don't notice when we drive in. We'll be there in about 5 minutes. P.S. nice singing #NOT

KK! For your information, I happen to be an amazing singer. You should take voice lessons from me. #I'mbetterthanyou

I hear Niall chuckle from the front seat.

"Girls,watch me play Flappy Bird on my phone. I'm a pro. My score is 201" (A/N I wrote this chapter when Flappy Bird was still really popular)

"You wish! I have to see this for myself" Chloe laughs and she and Paige watch me play the game.

After 5 minutes, we pull up into the police station. Chloe and Paige's eyes go wide when they look up and examine their surrounding

"Why are we at the police station?" Paige screams 

"Calm down Paige" I say

"How can I calm down when we're at the police station. Now answer my question. Why are we here? You better not be reporting Abby and Melissa" Paige replies

"We're her to report Abby and Melissa. They're gonna be in massive trouble"Niall says and Paige starts to hyperventilate.

"Paige, breathe in and out" I say and wait for her breathing to return to normal. When it does, Chloe begins to speak.

" We can't do this"Chloe yells" Autumn, did you know about this?!?"

"Well..erm..sorta,yeah" I mumble, scratching the back of my neck

"I can't believe you. You betrayed us. True friends wouldn't do that" Chloe screams

 "I'm doing this to help you" I say

"You're not helping!Just don't talk to us, okay?" Paige insists"Niall, take us home please. We are not going inside"

I knew they would be angry with me. Why do they have to be so darn stubborn. We are trying to help. There is only thing we can do. Niall and I look at each other before grabbing them and pulling them into the station. We tell the lady at the desk our problem and she has two officers take us into a private room.

Paige POV

"So ladies and gentleman, who has been abused?"One of the officers ask.

Even though I don't want to say anything, I know we have to. Chloe and I silently raise our hands.

"Do you know the name of your abuser?" The other officer asks

"Her name is Abby Lee Miller and she's our dance teacher. She lives in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania." I state

"How are we supposed to help if she lives in America?" Officer asks

"Actually, she's in England for a few days. Before the girls told us about all of this, she contacted us asking for tickets to our concert" Niall says

"Where's the concert?" Officer asks and Niall gives him directions

"Is anyone else being abused?"

"Yes. Five of our friends" Chloe says

" If you watch our show Dance Moms, you will see that she verbally abuses us. She called us names like worthless, trash and stuff like that" I begin" ...but off camera, she's not that nice"

"Elaborate" The officer demands

So, Chloe and I explain to the officer about what Abby does to us and how she threatened us not to tell anyone. Niall looks surprised by the details and Autumn is crying, hugging on to me. I know I'm supposed to be angry with her, but right now I can really use the support.

" You said that most of the moms don't know, so which mom does know?" Officer asks

"Melissa Gisoni, Maddie and Mackenzie's mom" Chloe says

We finish giving the rest of the details and leave.

"Thank you guys for taking us here. I feel like a weight has been lifted off our shoulders" I smile.

"I second that"Chloe adds and I laugh

"No problem It's what I do" Niall says cockily and we all laugh

"I'm so sorry you had to go through all of that"Autumn states 

"It's okay. Thanks to you two, we don't have to worry about it anymore" I smile and hug her

***********************

The concert goes by quickly and in no time, we are back at home.

"Guess what" Autie says

"What?"

"They caught Abby and Melissa right before the concert. Luckily, none of the other moms came, so they don't know about this"

"Yes" Chloe and I scream in unison and do our little happy dance.

"I feel free" I sing "Remember the lads say not to tell the others" I remind them and they nod.

"Yep. No one will ever know"

Maddie POV

I was drifting off into a deep slumber when my annoying phone starts to ring, The call is from an unknown number. Who would be calling me so late at night?

"Hello" I answer groggily

" Maddie,princess" The voice answers

"Mom? Where are you calling from?" I ask

"I'm calling you from jail" She sighs

"What?!?"

How was it? I really like this chapter. Thanks for all the votes I've received. It means a lot. I won't be updating this book until MID TO LATE JUNE because I have end of year exams at my school *sigh* Anyways, I'll just leave you with my lovely cliff hanger until then. Later cupcakes
