Time for the truth

Santiago's P.O.V

I ran out immediately when I saw the terrified look on my dad.I couldn't him looking at me if I was some kind lab rat that from a mutated scientists lab.I just kept running and running into the woods,I guess this is where I'll start a new life where no one knows anything about me.I can't go to my house,that's the first place Ian will find,but I did remember a cabin my parents bought for summer vacations.I guess I could start there.I started walking straight back since I have no friggin clue I am.After 10 minutes of walking,I got out of the woods and started heading to the cabin in the other side of town.

Ian's P.O.V

Where can Santiago be?I already searched the woods and theres no trace of him.I quickly tell the limo driver to take me to the police department and in no time I was there.I ran inside.

"Officer please help"Ian said.

"What's your emergency?"The cop lady asked.

"My son ran away and I can't find him!"I yelled.

"Calm down sir,we'll get our patrol officers on it and we'll find your son.Now what's his name and how does he look like?"She said.

"He's Santiago Reynolds/Hecox!"I said.Her eyes widened and immediately contacts every police.I'm guessing Santiago is also famous to the police.

"Every one in the area,we have Santiago Reynolds missing,I repeat,Santiago Reynolds is missing!"She said.In a matter of seconds,all police men were already on it.I sit in the chair hopefully to see if my son is fine,then I notice Anthony coming in and sitting by me.

"Look Isn I'm so sorry what Johnny and Daniel did."Anthony said.

"I-it's okay,w-what m-m-matters to me now is my son"I couldn't bare but to cry.

"Ian,they'll find him,don't worry."Anthony said.

"Thanks.Where's Daniel and Johnny?"I asked.

"They're in the car terrified to death."Anthony said.

"I'm sorry for what happened."I said.

"Hey it's not your fault,don't be apologizing."Anthony said.I looked to him to see his beautiful brown eyes,our faces were getting closer and closer and thats when we kissed.It was the best kiss I ever had,better than David's.I felt a spark when we kissed,I snapped out of it and forgot that he was married.

"What's wrong?"Anthony asked.

"Your married to Kalel for 3 years,I can't ruin that for you,she's all you have."I said.

"Ian,I've not been totally honest with you,but the first day I met you in sixth grade,I immediately fell in love with you.Since you were dating other guys at the time,I wouldn't think you would date someone like me until you and I started hanging out and became best friends.I didn't want to admit my love to you because I didn't want to ruin the most important thing in my life,our friendship,and since then I only used Kalel as a way of forget you."Anthony started to cry,so was I.

"That's funny,because that's the exact same thing I was trying to do."I said with a chuckle.

"So does that mean that-"I stopped Anthony

"I have always loved you Anthony since sixth grade."I finally said.

"Really?"Anthony said excitedly.

"Yeah"After I said that Anthony quickly pushed his lips with mine and was to make out to find out we're still in the police department,luckily nobody was there.After 2 hours they found him,I heard the directions and I was off.Anthony followed me and after 30 minutes we were there.I got out the car to see that all police men were down and passed out.I told Anthony to stay here,I really don't want him to get hurt.I walk slowly to the door to Santiago crying I slowly go up to him and I hugged him for comfort.

"How do you still want me?I'm a monster." Santiago said.

"No your not,your my son and I will always be here for you."I tried to get him comfortable.

"I am a monster,look what I'm doing,I can do things that no other human can!"Santiago yelled.I saw that all furniture were floating in midair.

"I didn't mean to kill my parents,they made me do it,it was the only way to save myself."Santiago admitted.

"Why would you kill your parents Santiago?"I asked.

"When I was in my room,my parents would get drunk and when they saw me using these powers,they thought I was the devil and tried to kill me,I was trying to run away since they both had shotguns in their hands.They found me in a corner of the hall and they both shot.I thought it was the end until I saw that the bullets that were shot were just standing there.I figured it was me and when they were a bout to shoot me again I aimed the bullets they shot to them leading them to die.I was so traumatize on what happened that I promised myself to never use it,but here I am using at this moment"Santiago said.I can't believe what his parents do to make him like this.

"Santiago,I don't care if you have abilities that people don't,that just make you special and being different is not a bad thing."I said.

"Really?"Santiago asked.

"Yeah Santiago,you matter to me and I matter to you ,thats all we need."I said.I came closer to him trying to comfort him from all this.After after comforting him,things were on the floor.He passed out 30 minutes later and I took him home.Anthony was still outside waiting for me.I was happy to know that he loved me for so long,now how am I going to tell Santiago?
