11: Where Is Avalon?

-Three Days Into DC-

-Paige's POV-

"Av are you coming to get Starbucks with us?" I asked Avalon as we finished our dance. It was Lady Gaga's 'Manicure.' It was me, Avalon, Elena, Winter, and Chloe dancing, but Avalon seamed out of it.

"No," She answered simply.

"Why?" She asked.

"Because I have plans," She muttered.

"Like what-"

"PLANS!" she yelled, looking into my eyes. She wasnt being herself lately. She tossed on her new Jordans and left.

"What's up with Avalon?" Tyler asked as they all came over to me.

"I dunno. Maybe shes just nervous," I shrugged.

"No- Avalon is never nervous. And if she is, she wouldnt act like that," Keaton disagreed.

"True. What is up with this girl lately?" Winter asked.

"Shes been leaving practice early, then disapering, then coming back the next day. What's up with her?" Scotty questioned.

"Paige your her best friend. You talk to her," Tyler said.

"And YOUR her boyfriend, you do it," I rebottled, poking him.

"I havent asked her out yet," Ty said.

"Well hurry up and ask her before she loses it," Chloe joked.

"I know. But, where did she go?" I asked.

"I dont know, North," Tyler replied.

"Alright. We can talk to her tomorrow at practice, okay?" Winter asked.

"Or we could follow her," Keaton responded.

"I dont know. Avalon is very protective of her privacy," Chloe informed as we all walked out together.

"Shes right. Avalon will punch someone if the followed her around," Scotty replied.

"Alright. I'll talk to her," I said.

"Good," Tyler replied

-Avalon's POV-

"Got it? Its a turn and hold your hands out like there still wet from nail polish," I said.

"Yeah, got it," Tabitha said. "Ya know, your really talented."

Element has been so nice to me lately since Im teaching them everything. Its weird.

"Thanks," I replied. "Now, try and do it again."

After the dance, I went to go and pack up my stuff while everyone else on Element started whispering things to each other. Except for Monica, who came over to me.

"Hey, Av," She said.

"Dont call me that. We're not friends, okay? Im doing this for Paige," I snapped.

"Alright. I just wanted to say good dancing," She replied.

"Thanks," Was all I said.

"And, I feel bad for you. You have to teach us these moves when-"

I cut her off. "Shut up, Monica."

Upset, she walked off back to Element. I glared as she walked away as I started packing. Was I doing the right thing? Should I just tell Paige before hand? Should I quit dancing all around? That last one didnt sound too bad, actually. My parents would be happy, I wouldnt have to deal with anymore drama or going to practices every day, I dont know anymore. I sighed, I was so confused. I grabbed my bag with my phone in my other hand and headed for the door.

"Hey, Avalon!" Tabitha called as her and Lauran ran over to me. "Where do you think your going?"

"Back to my hotel," I answered.

"We need more practice!" Lauran exclaimed.

"I need more sleep,"  I said before walking out. I ran down the street and arrived at my hotel. I checked my pockets, I had left the key in my room. Dammit. I walked up to the front desk.

"Hi," I said.

"Hi can I help you?" She asked.

"Umm, my name is Avalon Grace and I have a room here, room 101, and I forgot my key there," I explained. "Can I have a new one?" She nodded her head and went into the back room. I turned around and looked through the glass door leading into the pool, fusion was there. I sighed as the women came back out and handed me a key. I smiled and went back upstairs and into my room. I was so confused if I should continue dance, I hated going through the drama. But I couldnt quit now! We have another dance off tomorrow, only three teams will be left, and its not going to be us if Element has the same dance. I didnt know what to do.

-The Next Day-

"And next us dancing, please welcome to the stage, Element!" The speaker announced. Element was in golden and black costumes, acting all slutty and shit. Anyway, they went to go start they're dance as 'Manicure' played. Everyone on Fusion ran over and watched the dance, I swear Paige almost broke down when she saw us do they're dance.

"Avalon!" Paige shouted running over to me.

"Yeah?" I asked.

"Element is doing our dance!" She replied. She dragged me over and I acted all surprised. "Now what are we going to do?"

"Well, we could always do our dance for next week, then learn a new one," I responded.

"But we barley know that one!" Tyler said.

"We'll try," I said. After Element finished, we went on stage as the song 'Wiggle' started for us. We did the stupid dance, and we totally messed up a few times. We all went backstage as Paige ran into her room.

"I feel bad for the girl," Keaton muttered.

"Yeah I know. This means a lot to her," Chloe agreed.

"Shes always wanted to win a competition," I said.

"Why dont you go talk to her?" Winter asked me, I nodded my head and went to her dressing room. She was walking around in circles, muttering things to herself.

"Hey," I said, she stopped and looked at me with a faint smile.

"Hi, Avalon," she said.

"You alright?" I asked her.

"Im confused," She replied. "How did Element learn our dance?" She asked. I stayed quiet, and she stared at me. She always knows my face when Im hiding things. "Avalon..."

"What?" I asked.

"You know how Element learned our dance, dont you?" She asked, I stayed quiet. "AVALON!"

"Yes I know!" I screamed, then covering my mouth I turned to leave but she grabbed my hand.

"Avalon Sage Grace you tell me right fucking now how Element learned our dance!" She snapped, I pulled my hand out then quickly walked out, she followed me.

"Avalon!" She shouted, but I ignored her and walked out.
