6- Thank You

-Tyler's POV-

I drove around for a bit looking for Av. I cant believe her parents want her to quit dance, Av is great at it! As I arrived at the park, I ran out the car and looked around. I saw someone on the park bench, so I ran over to them. Avalon was asleep on the couch and she looked a light blue. I picked her up and carried her back to the car and put her in the passenger seat. I turned on the seat warmers and I drove back to my house. As I arrived, I carried her inside opening the door with my foot, and my mom and dad were in the living room. They ran over to me when they saw Avalon.

"Tyler sweetie! Is this Avalon?" My mom asked.

"Yeah, shes freezing. She ran away because of some family thing and she called me," I explained.

"I'll get some blankets, Tyler, make a fire and keep her warm. Dustin, go make sure Ava and Austin are asleep," My mom ordered. I nodded my head and took her to the fireplace and made a fire. Dustin was my dad, Austin was my brother, and Ava was my sister. I set Avalon in my lap and wrapped my arms around her.

"Here," My mom said giving me some blankets. I wrapped them around Avalon as my mom sat next to me.

"So, Tyler, this is the girl you've been crushing on?" She asked.

"Yeah, isn't she gorgeous?" I asked.

"Shes beautiful. So, tell me about her," My mom said.

"Well, shes a dancer for hip-hop, she-"

"Hip-hop? Tyler! Shes perfect for you," My mom interrupted.

"Shes teaching me to. Im part of her dance team now, Fusion. The other kid broke his leg," I explained.

"Oh that's so sad," My mom said.

"Wanna hear something else sad? Avalon's parents are disappointed in her," I added.

"What? How can you be so disappointed in such a beautiful and talented girl?" My mother asked.

"Her family is just so sophisticated, and shes not," I explained.

"Well, Tyler, keep her by the fire. If she wakes up, let her sleep on the couch or in your bed," She said standing up and walking upstairs, "Goodnight."

"Night mom," I said. I hugged Avalon tighter, when I felt something on my cheek. I looked at Avalon, she was awake and she kissed my cheek.

"Thank you," She said with a smile.

"What for?" I asked.

"For taking me in when I was lost," She explained.

"No problem, Im always here when you need me," I replied. I carried her upstairs and into my bedroom. I set her down on my bed as I jumped on my couch.

"You didn't have to carry me," She said.

"But I wanted to," I replied.

"Thanks, Tyler. I know we got off to a bad start, but... thanks" She said.

"No problem, Av. Here, Im going to go ask my sister for some pajama pants for you, Im be right back," I said going over to the door.

"Tyler its fine, I can sleep in these," She said.

"Av you in baggy pants and a t-shirt, Im getting pajama pants," I said. I left the room and went across the hall and into Ava's room.

"Ava?" I asked going in her room, she was on her laptop.

"Yah?" She asked.

"Can I borrow a pair of pajama pants? Maybe some that are to big for you?" I asked.

"For who?" She asked.

"My friend, Avalon is here, its a long story but shes staying the night and she needs some clothes," I explained. She went t her draw and pulled out a pair of grey pajama pants that said 'AREO' on them.

"Thanks," I said as I left. I went back into my room and tossed Avalon the pajamas.

"Thanks," she went into my bedroom and changed while I did the same. I came back out, and she was fast asleep on the bed. I smiled and fell asleep right next to her.
