13- Goodbye, For Now

-Back Home-

"Are you sure your not going to run to Fusion's studio?" My mother assured.

"Yeah. Lets just, go," I said sadly. We packed our things into the taxi and we took off. The airport was about an hour away, so it was about four in the morning. My parents were asleep, so was my brother. I was in the bag listening to music while my sister was reading a magazine.

She tapped my shoulder. "What are you listening to?"

"A Thousand Years why?" I answered.

"Just wondering," she replied. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah why?" I asked.

"You look down, Av," She answered.

"Trina, Im fine," I lied.

"Its because of that Tyler guy right?" She asked.

I sighed. "Tyler, and Paige. I didnt say goodbye to either of them."

"Then call them," Trina said.

"Its too late now. I'll figure something else," I said. She shrugged and went back to her magazine. I could figure something out... Right?

-Tyler-

"Has anyone heard anything from Avalon?" Patrick exclaimed as he hung up his cell phone.

"Nope. I havent seen her in a few days," Paige answered.

"She wont answer my texts," Elena added.

"We have competition tomorrow! Shes our leader!" Patrick yelled. Before anyone else said anything, the door opened, and Element walked in.

"What do you want?" I snapped as everyone stared at them.

"Can you just... Give this back to Avalon before she goes?" Tabitha asked, handing Scotty Avalon's phone.

"Before she leaves? Where?" I asked.

"She didnt tell you?" Monica asked.

"No..." Chloe answered.

"Her and her family are moving to California," Lauren answered.

"WHAT?!" We all screamed.

"She was sick of everything and everyone, and her family had to move, so she left. Shes working as a ssecretary," Monica explained.

"And she never said goodbye..." Paige said, she looked like she was going to cry.

"Well, sorry we had to deliver the news.... But hey! Look on the bright side!" Tabitha exclaimed.

"What?" Scotty asked.

"We're going to win Hip Hop International!" Lauren finished, and they all laughed, except Monica.

"Oh shut up!" Monica yelled, we all stared at her.

"What?" Lauren asked.

"Shut up! Fusion is the best team around and they dont go around black mailing people! Element sucks, honestly! And I am DISGUSTED to be on that team! So Im done! I quit!" Monica yelled, everyone was in awe, then she looked at us. "You need another dancer?"

"Yes! We do!" Chloe replied, then Monica walked over to us.

Tabitha scoffed. "Please, we dont need Monica!"

"Good. Then get the hell out!" Winter said, all of Fusion laughed and Element left.

"Im really sorry about Avalon," Monica said.

"Its okay, I guess. Im sure we'll see her again," Paige said. "Im just... Sad she didnt say goodbye."

"Its alright Paige," I said as I hugged her.

"Alright. Lets rehearse. Im DETERMINED to beat Element."

-Four Days Later-

"Thank you, Element for that amazing dance!" The host exclaimed as Element walked off the stage. We were next, our dance was to the song 'Wiggle.' But the only people dancing were Paige and I. It was supose to be Avalon and I, but shes not here. I was in baggy jeans and a black sweatshirt that said 'DOPE' across it, and my contacts were in. Paige had a half white and grey shirt with black jeans and a sweatshirt tied around her waist.

"Next up, we have Tyler Jones and Avalon Grace performing Wiggle by Jason-" He was cut off by a worker running over to him and handing him a peice of paper, then running off the stage. "Im sorry, there was a change in plans. We have Tyler Jones and Paige Falls performing they're dance to Wiggle!"

he walked off the stage as Paige and I walked on. The music started and we started our dance. At the end, I didint feel confertible, because I had to 'glimpse' at Paige's butt. It was part of the dance, so I had to. It was about a minute dance, but it was fun to perform. After went went back to Fusion and we all highfived them. After, every team got called up to the stage and we stod in a circle.

"Alright, we just wanted to thank everyone for attending this event, and we are only accepting TWO teams to go to California for the last dance! And now, the teams. Drum roll please," The host said. They had some kind of drum sound effect.

"In second place we have... Element!" He yelled, the crowd cheered as Element highfived.

"And now... Finally, we have the first palce team going to LA, California to compete with Element... And that team is... Fusion!"

We all screamed and cheered, and so did the crowd. I picked up Paige and spun her around, friendly like. Trust me: I dont like Paige. Shes dating Kyle, and, I like Avalon. But, hey! Califnornia here we come!
