I wake up and find Aaron sleeping at the end of my bed. Aaron was curled up in a ball and snoring.

I get up and grab some clothes, a brush, toothbrush, and paste and go to the bathroom. I look at myself in the mirror and see bags under my eyes and a line of dirt going down my cheek.

"I hope that wasn't there when I went to the store."

I scrub every bit of dirt off my body and wash all of the sweat out of my hair. I get done and put on a pair of black joggers and a plain grey t-shirt. I brush my hair and teeth and sluggishly walk back to the bedroom that I and Aaron share.

I sit back down and read more of my book.

"Whatcha reading?"

I jump a little and see Aaron smirking up at me, knowing that he scared me.

"I thought you were asleep."

"Well, I was until you flopped down on the bed."

Aaron lays down next to me and I keep reading.

"Wren is a horrible sister."

I was reading a book called Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell. The book is about a girl that goes to college and she makes a fanfiction about another book that Rainbow Rowell made.

"There sister, they'll get over it."

After a while of reading and having to tell Aaron the story and answering his questions, and Aaron falls asleep, I go downstairs and get some breakfast and sit at the table and look outside and watch Phoenix chase the squirrels outside.

"Whatcha watching?" Luke says sitting a cup of orange juice in next to my plate of eggs.

"Why does Phoenix seem so happy through all the crap that happens in the world?"

"He's just a dog that just figured out what to do with his life. I don't think he really cares."

I finish my breakfast and head back upstairs, a plate of eggs for Aaron. I sit them down on the bedside table and throw a pillow on his face. He jolts up.

"What was that for?"

"Humor."

"That wasn't funny."

"It was for me."

I hand the plate to Aaron and he immediately forgets about what happened.

"What are we going to do about the guy, what if he finds us?"

Aaron looks up at me and cocks an eyebrow. "What made you think of that?"

"I was watching Phoenix playing outside, and I was wondering what it would be like for him if he found us and took us away, what would Phoenix do? If they take him he wouldn't feel free he would be in a small cage, locked up."

"Wow, that was random."

"I'm a random person."

Aaron finishes his plate so I and him go outside and play with Phoenix. Except I didn't know that I would see what I saw. until it was there.
