ST Characters Preference// First 'I Love You'

//Dustin//

You were about to sit down for lunch, when you heard a familiar voice.
"Can you just leave me alone, Troy?"
It was your best friend, Dustin.
You put your tray down where Mike, Lucas and Will were sitting.
"Where're you going?" Mike asks.
"To help my friend." You reply.
You walk over to where Troy and his 'Friend' had cornered Dustin.
"Get the hell away from me, Dick-Heads." Dustin says.
"No way, Toothless." Troy smirks.
"Hey!" You almost shout from behind Troy.
"Oh! Look what we have here." Troy says, turning around.
"Don't you even listen, you deaf pieces of shit?" You say.
Troy still had his amused smirk across his face.
"He said for you to get lost! PISS OFF!" You yell.
"Make me, Short-stack." Troy laughs, towering over you.
With that you punch him in the nose.
"You little bitch!" He replies.
His reflexes surprisingly fast, he punches you back.
Ignoring the pain in your nose, you duck away and grab Dustin's arm.
"Y/N, are you ok?" He asks.
"Yeah I'm fine." You answer.
"Hey, you didn't have to do that." He says.
"Yes, I did, Dustin, you're my best friend." You say.
"And your mine and, well... I love you." He blushes, staring at the ground.
Heat creeps into your face.
You give him a quick peck on the cheek.
You look to see Lucas, Mike and Will watching the whole thing.
Smirks plastered on their faces.
"Mouthbreathers." You mumble.

//Lucas//

You were at Lucas's house watching your all time favourite movie, Ghost-Busters.
Both of you were kind of awkwardly sitting on the couch.
You really were in love with Lucas, but, you were definitely sure that he had a crush on somebody else, after all, he is your best friend.
"I love this movie, don't you?" You say to Lucas.
"Yeah, I love it... But, not as much as I love you." He replies.
"What?" You say, locking eye contact with him for a few seconds, before he turns away and stares at his lap.
"What?" He says.
"What did you say?" You almost laugh, playfully punching his arm.
"Nothing!" He says, seriously this time.
"Lucas!"
"Ok, I-I said... Uh, I love you, but, I mean if that's weird or-"
"Not at all and I love you too." You smile.
"I seriously thought you were falling for mike or something." He replies.
"What? No way! I mean he's my friend but, I don't like him like that." You laugh.
You smile at each other, blushing a little bit.
You feel his fingers interlocking with yours and heat starts to creep into your cheeks along with a broad smile onto your face.
Both of you were barely paying attention to the movie anymore.
(Lol, this one was a little cringe😅)

//Will//

You and Will were just hanging out in Castle Byers, drawing and listening to The Clash on his radio together.
"What're you drawing?" Will asks, glancing at your page.
"Honestly, I have no idea. It's mostly just random doodles. What're you drawing?" You answer.
"Us." Will blushes.
You smile. "Will, you're so good at drawing."
"Well, so are you!" He says.
"Not compared to you!" You say.
"Hell yeah! Y/N, you're amazing and I love you." Will says. But, then immediately regrets it and starts to resemble a tomato. "I-I'm sorry, Y-Y/N."
"It's ok, Will." You pull him into a big hug. "Because, I love you, too."

//Mike//

You and mike were cycling home together. As usual.
"Can you come over and play D&D with us?" Mike asks.
"As much as I'd love to, I can't I have a ton of homework to do." You reply.
"Screw homework." He says.
"Yeah." You laugh.
"Just come! Homework sucks." Mike whines.
"I can't, mike!" You answer.
"Ok fine. But, you have to come tomorrow." He says.
"Ok." You say.
"Do you promise?"
"I promise."
"You better not say you have 'a ton of homework' to do tomorrow." Mike says.
"I won't, oh sorry this is my house." You say.
You and mike pull over to the side of the road.
"Bye, Mike." You say.
"Bye, Y/N, I love you! Oh shit. I just said that out loud didn't I?" Mike replies.
"Hmm Mmm, yeah." You say, heat creeping into your cheeks.
You give him a quick peck on the lips, before getting off your bike and running inside.
All mike could do was just blush and smile, all the way home.
