I feel like hell, I'm all over the place
I barely slept a wink last night. I had too much on my mind about what had happened in the past day.
I walk down the street and I pass the arcade. That was our first date.
Can't believe I'm seeing you in this random space.
I never knew it would come to this. Our relationship was so perfect. Then Max came along.
Now, I always see them.
Together.
You know I miss you, do you believe in fate?
He didn't know what the impact of this would have on me. I fight back tears as I see them walking on the opposite side of the road from me.
So listen up,
I want to say something.
Anything.
But I think I've done enough damage as it is.
  My heart is dark,
I feel shattered.
I know that I've been replaced.
It's like when you buy a new Barbie doll,
The last one you bought seems almost extinct.
And you just constantly play with the new one because she's prettier or she's more stylish or whatever silly shit is better than the old one.
I've had enough.
I can't turn anywhere without seeing him.
His name just plays over and over and over in my mind and it drives me insane.
I've tried to love.
I tried as hard as I could to love him.
To keep him happy.
I always knew what to do when he was sad.
Always.
Keep coming back to this place.
I try to think of other things, but my mind just takes me back to Lucas.
I close my eyes and let the tears fall.
I'm sick of holding everything back.
I wanna be free and let you fly away.
I want him to be happy.
It's one of my worst traits
Wanting everyone to be happy all the time.
But I also want myself to be happy.
To see your smile,
I bite my lip thinking about the first time I saw that smile.
It's contagious.
But obviously he shares it with another girl now.
That girl used to be my best friend.
Upon your face,
She smiles back at him.
That smile turns into a laugh.
It's the hardest part of being replaced.
I stare.
That stare turns into a tear.
