(Xionic Madness x Glynda) Omega's Reawakening/Madness in Remnant

Day of Initiation

3rd POV

(Omega's dreams)

I wake up to stare down the barrel of a gun, but still fighting XV for control of my body. After slamming my fists on the ground a couple times, I regain full control and let out a rasping and exhausting breath. 

"Thank you for that... Now, finish me off..." Omega barely manages to get out without growling like an animal.

"The hell are you talking about? Walk it off, pussy." Xero says.

Omega falls to his knees. "This thing," Omega stabs Xero's weapon into the ground in front of him and lets go of it. "Has already taken over most of my body and mind... I am struggling just to not kill you right now!" Omega says this with an animalistic growl. "So, do it already! After all you were the one who was going to cut off my head, right?" Omega says, referring back to when they started fighting an army of undead that was brought back to life by Kary.

"But...!" Xero starts but is cut off by Omega. "No buts! If you don't kill me right now then we'll both be dead!" He exclaims.

"... This wasn't supposed to end this way..."

"Heh... For what it may be worth, I'm sorry, for everything..." Omega says weakly, apologetically.

"Tch... Fuck you..." Xero curses Omega's apology.

Letting out a painful groan, Omega's control is about to slip. "... I won't be able to hold it any longer...! Do it!" 

Xero grabs his blade that Omega implanted into the ground and rips it out. "See you in hell..." 

"We'll all be waiting for you..." Omega says before his head is cut clean off.

(In reality)

Omega's POV

I wake up in a sweat and sit up, revealing my shirtless chest from the blankets that were covering me. A tear creeps out of my left eye and slides down my cheek. "You won't find me in hell, Xero. I'm sorry."

I get up and check on the machine keeping the Fall Maiden alive, and then turn to get dressed in my clothing from yesterday. I warp in my armor over my clothes, and head out while watching the machine that is building Grudge, which is almost complete. (If you don't remember, refer to the chapter, Omega's Info.)

"For years you have trained to become warriors. And today, your abilities will be evaluated in the Emerald Forest." Ozpin says, while I stand behind him on his right, and Glynda stands behind Ozpin on his left while holding a tablet.

"Now, I'm sure many of you have heard rumors about the assignment of teams." Glynda says.

"Well, allow us to put an end to your confusion. Each of you will be given teammates. Today." I continue for Glynda. I hear Ruby whisper something, sounding scared, but ignore it for now.

"These teammates will be with you for the rest of your time here at Beacon. So it is in your best interest to be paired with someone with whom you can work well." Ruby makes another scared whimper, which starts to concern me. "That being said, the first person you make eye contact with after landing will be your partner for the next four years."

"What?!?" Ruby shouts but is ignored by everyone. 

"After you've partnered up, make your way to the northern end of the forest."

"You will meet opposition along the way. Do not hesitate to destroy everything in your path, or you will die." I continue for Ozpin, in a deadpan to get the point across. Which earns a nervous and scared chuckle from Jaune, and a loud gulp. Pussy. Damn Xero rubbed off on me.
