Reaper in Second Semester

Rowan's POV

Rowan's Remnant Log - 15

The students have become noticeably stronger, and first semester has ended 2 weeks ago. I have taken to helping each of them on a daily basis, even Team CRDL, despite their immoral actions towards fellow students. But as for Ruby and Jaune especially, they are starting to shine brighter than the others. Ruby's use of her weapon is more efficient now than it was when she started in the academy. During a practice spar with me last week, I was almost pushed to be serious about the fight because she put a scratch on my armor. Jaune's sword play has improved immensely, and now his strength is fifty percent to Xero's, so now he can overpower his enemies, along with tactical cunning that I have also started teaching them both. After reaching past twenty eight percent, he was finally able to defeat Cardin in single combat.

But putting aside work, me and Glynda are wonderful. I could not ask for a better half. I'm surprised she is used to my morning ethics, and it appears she has changed her attitude toward me from very strict, loving, and caring to a little less strict and even more loving and caring. Toward her students though, she is still the same, with that strict caring nature.

My friends, Teams RWBY, JNPR and just recently Team CFVY as well when Ozpin assigned me a sweep and clear mission with them. They took a liking to me since I had to break them out of a few close calls. One in particular from Team CFVY, to my discomfort, decided to flirt with me. The missions Ozpin sends my way are not a problem for me but are on much more of a higher scale of difficulty for any of the students, no matter what year they are from. I think Ozpin puts too much trust into me with these students but he also very well knows that I won't let anything happen to them.

Ozpin: Omega, can you please join me and Professor Goodwitch for a meeting? We need to discuss... Is that an audio log?

Yes it is sir. I do not reveal secret information though, incase my files could be compromised. I will be upstairs shortly.

Ozpin: Understood.

Rowan's POV

After finishing the audio log, I get out of my tank top and shorts after Ozpin heads to the elevator and put a red shirt on with a frowning symbol on my left pec and along with brown khakis and my usual combat boots and follow Ozpin to the elevator.

"Don't play dumb with me Ozzy. How much did you hear?" I ask him, as he presses the button that takes us to his office.

"Every single bit of it." He takes a sip from his mug. "I'm glad Ms. Goodwitch is treating you well. How is your time here at Beacon?" He asks with a smile and a friendly tone.

"Certainly better than being a soldier." I say with a chuckle and so does Ozpin. "In all honesty this feels like an illusion that can only be conjured with my imagination. I thank you Ozpin for the new life you permitted me to have. But I know this won't last for long. Anymore news on our enemies?" I ask, getting serious.

"We will discuss that in our meeting. How are my knights?" He asks, in a friendly tone.

"If you mean the hyperactive girl, the ice queen, the ninja cat, and the fiery dragon, they are getting exponentially stronger, especially Ms. Rose. Her younger age allows her to grow at an exceptionally faster rate. By now she has the strength of a third year and the tactical knowledge I instilled in her, but still the mind of a child. Ms. Schnee is excelling in her strengths as well, but her fencing form could use a little more work, and pretty soon she won't just be a pretty face." Ozpin chuckles a bit from my joke. "Ms. Belladonna is already a survivor but she keeps running away. I believe it is a personal matter but I am helping her take steps to overcome it. Ms. Xiao Long was already a brute, but now she's a tank. Her strength is immense, just a third of mine with her Semblance, but still impressive and improving. Your knights are more than ready for the tournament. But still not ready for Salem. Not yet anyways." I say with a smirk.
