The Dark Magic

Deafening silence, Blinding darkness

  I hurried out of the stream, put on my damp clothes and ran to the small hut.

  I started banging on the door "OPEN UP, OPEN UP, PLEASE OPEN UP"

  The little boy opened the door say my side and started crying and backing away slowly "MOMMY! MOMMY! MOMMY!" is all he could get out.

  She came running at the sound of his cries and when she saw the me than the blackness she screamed. Her screams attracted the attention of gaven and the other girl.

  They looked at me and i saw the panic in there eyes. I looked down and saw it was eating my clothes and me and everything around me.

  No herbs, medicine or medical help could fix this.

  I started to scream and felt the adrenalin rushing through me. I needed to run. I needed to get as far away from these people as possible.

  I took off at full speed the adrenaline pushing me faster than i thought possible. It started raining hard but I  didnt care. I didnt notice.

  I zoomed past the trees and bushes and saw a white flash in the sky, lightning. than a path lit up and I followed it.

  A few seconds later i heard twigs break, leafs crunch, and water slosh. I looked to my left while still running full speed. Gaven was less than a foot behind me.

  The sky was getting darker. The rain was getting harder. The blackness was still following us. Well fallowing gaven. It had already gotten to me, it was already eating me.

  Just than did i realize that it was hurting me. So much pain. But i continued to run as fast as my little legs would carry me.

  I had to see where this glowing path ended. My gut was telling me to... well what the darkness hasnt eaten yet.

  Gaven was running beside me now. I looked over and our eyes locked for a second. I couldnt read the emotion in them. It was to powerful.

  Then i looked back to find the path had disappeared. Gaven seemed to notice at the same time.

  I was running out of breath and was starting to get tired. I needed to rest. We couldnt rest out here the darkness will get us. Me. It wanted me.

  "What do we do?" Gaven asked while we still ran in a random direction.

  "How am i supposed to know" I snapped back.
 
  "Well thanks for the help."

  "No problem, anytime."

  Then we saw it. A pink tree. It was glowing. So very pink and beautiful. It was warm and welcoming. No more pain. No more cold. No more wet. No more hunger. No more misery. Just wormth.
 
  I walked over to it slowly and touched the trunk of it gently. It was so warm like the warmth ive never had. It feels great.

  I sit down on the roots and as im dozing off i see a flash of light and I hear a big BOOM.

  Everything disappears and im alone in the darkness. Nothing but silence and black emptiness.
