Them and their pretty China doll faces.

Them and their pretty China doll hair.

Them and their China doll dresses.

Them and their China doll dreams.

Them and their China doll masks that hide China doll lies.

Them and their China doll stories, their China doll lives.

But me.

I am different.

I'm not like the rest.

I don't wear China doll masks or play China doll games.

I don't wear China doll dresses or China doll braids.

I don't dance to China doll songs on the puppet masters strings.

Because when the boys and the girls come home to play.

They'll grab me, they'll shout out and say.

Lets play with this one she's different you see.

No dresses or cheeks.

She not a China doll so nobody will care.

If she's easier to break than she is to repair.

And we're not the ones who pay the price.
