A light breeze lifted Rory's hair off her face, leaving it unconventional places. She sputtered and waved her hands uncontrollably trying to get the hair out of her eyes and mouth.

"Haven' some trouble there?" Ethan chimed in his country accent starring down at her with his ever curious blue eyes.

"You wouldn't know." She huffed. "To be  honest I would cut it all off, but my mom say it's "not lady like" to have short hair."

"That's stupid! It's your hair I say you do what ya' want with it." Ethan said reaching a hand toward Rory.

She grabbed it and Ethan helped pull her out of the small hole. After catching their breath from the effort, both Rory and Ethan walked back toward the cluster of tents near the edge of the jungle.

"Do you even think Lambda exists?" Rory questioned. "I'm mean really come on! We're looking for a supposedly mythical ore. Alsinium? That doesn't sound like something that could be real!"

"I know it sounds stupid but there's solid evidence that shows the city should be here. I trust Annika, you should to." Ethan said rustling around trying to find his water.

"Whatever." Rory muttered under her breath.

"Back to work pipsqueaks!" Annika bellowed. "You volunteered to help out, no sitting around!" Ethan and Rory scurried back to there holes and quickly started digging again.

"I know I've known you for 19 years Ethan, but remind me to never come with you on "fun jungle explorations" again. This is exhausting!" Rory complained.

"Aw come on it's a once in a life time thing, you don't get to do this every day back home do ya'?" Ethan says cheerily.

"Whatever." Rory muttered again.

After another hour the heat was getting to her. Rory slowly sank down into the bow deep pit and closed her eyes for just a moment. She breathed in the earth scents around her. The peace was overwhelming.

Suddenly Rory was in a deep sleep and a vision was brought before her. A grand city with an arch at the entrance. Although it was written in an ancient writing style she could read it perfectly. Lambda. The lost city? It couldn't be, could it?

She walked through the city, body adored with native cloths and jewelry. She blended in perfectly. Rory passed shops that smelt of sweet bread and house with mother caring for many small children.

She continued walking through the city until she car to a temple. Something compelled her to enter.

"My Child." A soft voice said surrounding her. "I see you are troubled. You come looking for Alsinium, the rare stone and it's multicolored crystals. Yet you have not even gone looking for yourself."

"Wh-what do you mean?" Rory asked.

"Other see you as someone you are not, but you fear to tell them the truth. You fear to expect the truth. Listen Child! Do not fear who you are!" With that a small, grey, heart-shaped, rock floated toward her.

It stoped just near the place her real heart is and began to crack. When the rock broke  open the room was filled with a colorful glow, due to light bouncing off the multicolored crystals.

"Alsinium." Rory whispered. The stone floated closer until it touched Rory's chest. But it didn't stop there it merged and became one with her.

"My Child, when you leave know that I have left of my treasure within you. You no longer must fear who you are.

You were born with the heart of a warrior inside the body of a princess. You are a man trapped inside the body of a woman. There is no shame in who you are. Do not be afraid to become who you already know you are."

With that the vision faded and Rory was back in the real word being shaken gently by Ethan.

"You alright?" Ethan asked worried. Rory nodded in determination.

"I'm find, I just fell asleep. But Ethan, there's something I've been meaning to talk to you about." With that Rory and Ethan trotted back to the camp to talk.

Rory was instilled with confidence that he never had before. As if someone had cracked the walls he had put up for so long. He thought back to vision. All though he didn't find what he originally came for, Rory felt like he was leaving with something much more precious. His own piece of Alsinium hidden within his heart.
