I woke up to someone speaking to me "Miss we need to take a picture of your ankle now" I look to the side of me to see Colby sleeping I smile and release his hand. "Okay" I get up slowly out of bed and stand up, the nurse helps me walk to the X-ray room "Stand here please" I stand up while she takes a few photos "Okay your done" "Wow that was fast" she helped me walk back to my room and lay back down "The results should be done within an hour" I smile "Okay." "Colbs....Colbs" I rubbed his hand to wake him "Yeah?" "Hey sleepy" I say in a calming voice "Hi" he stretches. "Someone just took me for X-rays we should be leaving soon" "Mmm that's good, I'm going to go to the cafeteria to check on everyone" "tell them to go home and get some sleep" "Alright , do you want anything ?" "No i'm good thanks, I can't have anything anyways" "Oh that's right" I laugh "Yeah" "Okay well just text me if you need me" "Will do"
I lay my head back down and close my eyes hoping to get more sleep but my phone rang "Hello" I pick up my phone groggy "Oh my gosh baby are you okay Colby called" I recognize my mothers voice "Hey Mom yes I'm fine we were just filming a video and things got a little crazy" I laugh "That's very irresponsible of you Arya" "Mom I'm sorry okay I'm okay" "No it isn't okay I knew you couldn't make it on your own I mean you just got there" tears fill my eyes "I-it was just a mistake" "And a pretty big one, me and your father have talked and we are revoking your apartment at the end of the week so your going to have to find a place to live" "Mom!" I say crying "Please don't do this" "I'm sorry Arya maybe you'll learn this way, I love you" she hangs up the phone. I heard someone coming down the hall so I quickly wipe away my tears "Hey so I sent everyone one home but Aaron said he wanted to sta- Hey whats wrong" his voice changed. "My parents" I say almost crying again. He sits next to me "What about them" "They aren't going to pay rent on my apartment anymore so I'm going to have to go back home" "Is it because of all this" "Yeah they are over reacting" "You can stay with us, your not going home, your going to make it" "Colbs I couldn't ask you to do th-" "no okay this is our fault. Your staying with us" I smile "Thank you" "Anything for you"

-20 minutes later-
"So good news is you didn't break it but you did sprain it pretty badly so your going to need a brace for awhile, and ice, lots of ice" I sigh a sigh of relief "Ugh that's great" Colby smiled at me "So can I go home now" "Yes we are going to discharge you" "I'm glad these beds aren't the softest" I laugh. "Can you help me untie this stupid thing you tied it in like three knots Colbs" "I wanted to make sure it didn't come undone" "What if they had to rush my into emergency surgery" "They would have just had to cut it off" Colby laughed. He untied the bow at the base of my neck. His fingers brushed along my shoulders and neck. His finger tips traced the outline of the tattoo I got last summer. "You got a tattoo?" "Its California." "I see that, why Cali?" "Because my heart was always here, I just wasn't yet" said turning around. He smiled " I like it." I blushed "Thanks" "Well i'll leave so you can get changed. I cant wait to get out of here." He said. Before I could say anything he walked out of the hospital room.

It was a quiet ride home. "I'm glad you stayed with me" I said breaking the silence "Always"
The last thing I remembered was looking at the city lights and falling asleep.
