24 hours pt 2

"GUYSSSS WERE HOME" I yelled from down stairs. There was no answer "I swear if this is a prank I'm going to loose my shit" Aaron said and I laughed. I walked into the house and spotted them through the window "Ah there they are" we walk outside. They were in the pool "Hey Guys" Colby jumped out of the pool "Hey" shit it's been a long time since I've seen him shirtless "You want a hugggg" Colby said inching towards me "Nah I'm good" "You sure" "I'm sure" I said laughing "Ima give you one anyways" " NO COLBS STOP" I said trying to run away but couldn't because my ankle, it was easy for him to catch up to me.
He hugged me from the back getting me all wet "This is why no one likes you Colby" I laughed. He made a fake sad face
"No one likes me anyways" "It's okay shaggy boy someone will" I said messing up his hair with my hand, as if it wasn't already. Our eyes locked for a moment but I quickly looked away "So um, we're doing a video tonight?" I asked "Uh yeah we'll start at like 9" "Okay well it's 6 now" "Brennen and his girlfriend are coming over too, along with Kat" "Aight sounds fun" "I'm gonna go get my suit on" I go in the house and go upstairs to get changed. I put on a bright blue bikini and grab my headphones. I grab a towel so I could tana little before the sun went all the way down. Ive been in LA for three days and haven't been outside once , now that is a sin. I walk back outside and lay my towel down away from the pool and pop my headphones in. About 30 minutes later brennen and the other two girls show up "Hey Arya" Devyn said "Hey what's up" "Mind if I lay here with you?" "Yeah sure, you missed the sun though, or what was left of it anyways" the sun was almost set. I grab my white cardigan and toss it on, since it gets cooler at night. "My god that boy is head over heals for you" Devyn said letting out a small laugh "What Colby?" "Mhmmmm" I look over at him and he smiles at me "Nah no way" I said pretending to mess with my nails. "You don't see it do you" "Not really no" "GUYS COME OVER WE ARE DOING A BON FIRE" the yelled "Maybe it's because you don't want to see it, or maybe you just don't want to believe it" Devyn said before hopping up and going over to the rest of the group. I laid on my back and thought for a moment. Could it be true. I get up a couple minutes later, walking over I wrap my arms around Colby's neck from behind "Hi" I whisper "Well hello" "I'm exhausted" I said "Another hour you'll get used to it" I laugh "You better hope so" I step in front and sit next to him in the same chair; it was pretty big. He wrapped his arm around me and his fingertips touched my arm. I got goose bumps on my skin and laid my head on his bare chest. His hand rested on mine. A few moments later I turn my head up to look at him and we catch each-others stare. He raised his hand and brushed my hair away from my face pressing a kiss to my forehead. Just friends. Just friends is all we'll ever be. And for some reason, that disappointed me.
