Rey's POV
There I was in Snokes chambers Snoke had me forced on my knees. "Kill her," he ordered. I looked into Bens eyes as he drew his hand up in the air. The light saber on Snokes chair ignited, killing him as Ben drew it to his chair.
"Why did you do that for me?" I asked him as everything around us seemed to be frozen in time.
"Because Rey, I love you,"he said clear as day.I awoke with a jolt to find myself in the crate room asleep on boxes. Had I fallen asleep here last night after dinner? I suppose. BB-8 rolled in the crate room and started beeping.
"What are you doing here Rey? We missed you last night," BB-8 beeped.
"I know, I'm shocked right now and really tired from all the shock from things that have happened recently," I replied getting up and rubbing my eyes.I thought about my dream. Does Ben love me? All of the sudden, Leias voice came over a loudspeaker.
"We have found a base everyone, prepare to get settled."
I looked out the window to see another icy planet.
"This is the planet of Hoth," Poe said waking in.
As we landed, the remaining resistance craters unloaded their machines from their craters and all of us on the millennium Falcon helped carry small boxes inside. The place already looked like it had been a base.
"How is there already rooms here?" I asked Leia.
"Well the rebels actually had a base here for awhile. The First Order won't suspect us to come back to one of our old bases." She explained. Finn looked at Roses medical chamber as she was located to the medical wing.
"I'm sorry about Rose, Finn," I said putting my hand on his shoulder.
"You'll get to meet her soon, I hope she wakes up from her coma asap," Finn said with a sad tone in his voice. As soon as we got all of the equipment set, Leia called us to the main room for a meeting.
"Our next mission is to launch our remaining torpedo ships and take down a couple more stardestroyers. We'll have to stay hidden after that," she said. Finn, I want you to go into a star destroyer and find its weaknesses. Poe you'll take him. Everyone else will be leading our torpedo ships to attach what we can," Leia explained.
"Everyone get to work!" She shouted.
Eve time began bustling at once trying to figure out where they needed to be.
"What do I need to do?" I approached Leia.
"Rey, there's nothing you really can do," Leia said ," you don't know how to work the machinery and your not a pilot."
"I can go on the mission with Finn," I piped up.
"This is not a game Rey, I can't send you on Finn and Poes mission because you don't know your way around a Star destroyer, plus putting an extra person for Finn to keep up with would be too risky."
I nodded and walked away. I felt like a child, like I wasn't needed. Tears stung my eyes, but I tried to hold it all in until I got to my room. I hated this planet, it was too cold. It wasn't until I got to my room that I realized, I wasn't needed here. The Resistance didn't need me. I would be alone, everyone would be on missions, and Leia would be too busy commanding them around to spend time with me. I really did truly feel-
"Alone?" A voice said startling my thoughts. I looked up to see Ben connecting with me through the force.
"I'm not alone, I have the whole Resistance," I said trying not to sound sad.
"I can't see your surroundings, just you," Ben said ,"but if I could I'd be able to narrow down planets to find your rebel base."
I caught a chill at that.
"Why are you wearing a jacket?" He asked.
Alarmed, I threw it off.
"It's so hot on this planet, the air conditioning is a bit too cold for my liking," I quickly thought up.
I felt him start to mind probe me to see if that was a lie. Tears streamed down my face as the result of trying to resist it. I was almost to my breaking point when he stopped and I dropped to the floor gasping for air.
"I'm not telling you anything," I said firmly.
"We'll see," he said in an almost seductive tone.
"You're alone Rey," Ben said with a seductive smile. "Luke is gone, you can't possibly become a Jedi now."
"Well you can't possibly Persue being a sith,"I hissed ," Snoke is dead."
"Were alone together," Ben said reaching out to me. "You have nothing left there, join me Rey."
It seemed tempting, but I cut him off.
I gathered my thoughts as I thought more about Bens offer. It did seem like I had nothing here for me anymore, but I couldn't trust Ben fully, what if it was just a trap? But I didn't expect him to mind probe me for the Resistance location. I decided to make a pros and cons list of leaving.
Pros- Keeping the Resistance base safe by not being on the same planet
-I could possibly go to a deserted planet and train with Force ghost Luke
-I'm not needed here anyway (Leia said so herself)
Cons-????????
I guess leaving would be my only option.A/N: Chapter 3 coming soon! Thanks for reading my book. It's about to get very much into Reylo so yay!
P.S. Is it just me or do you read in your mind Bens parts in his voice? One of the very many things I love about Adam Driver is his voice! What's yours?
