9:53 am - New York Airport

There you sat, waiting in the lounge to get on flight 354 C-ZUV heading to Vancouver, Canada for a trip you decided to take alone. It was the middle of winter, and snow was falling outside the airport windows onto the runway, which caused an announcement that your flight would be delayed for about 2 hours.

You could hear others around you mumbling in anger, but you decided to just stay calm, and head to go grab a bite to eat at one of the little airport coffee shops. You grabbed your one carry on backpack, and made your way over to the coffee shop.

9:59 am - The Coffee Shop

You stood in a long line waiting to grab your coffee and food. The airport was pretty busy at this time which wasn't as surprising since morning flights are common, which made you sigh as you knew now that waiting in line would be longer than usual.

Being impatient, you pulled out your phone and began to scroll through a couple texts and photos. But as you weren't paying attention, a Very tall/dark muscular man budded you in line.

"Uhhh hello! There's a line ya know" you said with a partially angry tone. What surprised you most was that even though the man heard you, he didn't even flinch nor speak. You tapped his shoulder to try and get him to turn around, but still no response. I'm not dealing with this right now, was all that ran through your head.

You let the man be, and just waited a bit longer to grab your coffee and breakfast. To be honest though, it was quite annoying how he just buded you and didn't respond nor say a word after the fact. He seemed odd though as he was covered in dark clothes, a hat which almost covered his face and one glove on his left arm which made it impossible to even see his arm.

10:12 am - Airport Hallways

You finally had your coffee, and an old fashion plain donut in your hand as you began to walk back to your gate lounge. No sight of the strange man which was a relief. It took you a good 20 minutes to get back as you were looking through multiple stores as you passed, but what was waiting at the gate surprised you.

10:15 - Your Gate Lounge

This is just great, you thought to yourself as you saw the man sitting down in the same lounge designated for your flight. It was enough sharing the same coffee shop for a couple minutes but now, you had to share a plane with him for a couple of hours. As long as you didn't sit next to him though, it should be alright.

As you passed by him to go sit down on the other side of the lounge waiting for your flight delay to be over, you both locked eyes for a brief moment before turning away with a brisk walk. Something gave you a bad feeling about this man and you were sticking to what your gut told you.

All that aside, you still had about an hour and a half to waste time until your plane was actually ready, so you put in your earbuds and sat down using the free wifi to watch a couple videos.

11:55 am - Boarding

You took off your earbuds as you heard somebody from the flight crew announce that boarding was now open. You pulled out your passport and boarding pass, and got in line to be checked, then boarded.
