"Hey (Y/N!)" Lance bounced into view, dragging Keith with him. I smiled, waving at the two before turning back to the princess.
"So the particle barrier has some faults, but I'm sure Pidge can take care of it. I found a small glitch with the door systems too." I continued, showing her the notes. Out of the corner of my eye, i could see Lance throw himself on the couch. Keith was leaning against the wall and i saw his eyes avert away when i looked over.
The princess nudged my arm, causing the notes to suddenly disappear and a message replacing them.

"Allura! What did you send?!" I fumbled with the tablet, trying to first gets my notes back and second figure out what had sent to Keith.
^i hope it wasn't that draft from the other night... Why did I let Pidge convince me to save it?^
"Hey (Y/N)? Can I ask...?" I jumped as a hand appeared on my shoulder, belonging to the raven-haired Paladin. I saw his phone open on our message chain and immediately ran. His voice echoed off the walls but I kept running, hoping I would make it to my room without breaking down.
^why did I ever caption that stupid picture? Nothing would be wrong if I hadn't put that stupid message over the stupid picture^
My mind raced as I collapsed on to my bed, waiting for the door to click shut behind me. I could still hear Keith's voice ringing in my ears.
That's how he found me. Covering my ears and sitting at my desk. Slight overreaction but how would you feel if you'd sent an image of a stunning landscape with the caption -its sparkles almost as much as your smile-. He probably thinks I'm such a love sick loser...
"(Y/N)? Are you ok?" I barely heard the whisper, still covering my ears and waiting for the ground to swallow me up.
"Pidge made me do it." I mumbled, bringing my hands down to rest my face on them.
"Mmm, I'm sure she did... Look, I'm flattered but-" His voice trailed off, as he realised my arm shaking.
"It was stupid of me to even think about you and...... and me." It slipped out. I felt my heart pound against my chest, my throat closing over.
^shoot not now, wait til he leaves^
"(Y/N) that's not what I wanted to say... I like you too, it's just-" He paused again, trying to find the right words. "With the coalition, we wouldn't be together as often as I'd want... the blade would need me on standby. It's been torture not to see you, I suffer enough without being here for you." I sniffed, letting him know I was listening as he continued.
"You are important to me (Y/N) and... Quiznak, I just want to kiss you when you laugh, it's so cute."
I stood up, facing him. Keith turned his face away and shuffled nervously. I didn't care anymore, he knew already. Placing my hands lightly on his cheeks, I shifted his head to face me.
"Keith Kogane. You are so annoying." He began to argue back when I leaned forward, pressing a lights kiss to his nose.
"But it's fine, you're cute too."
Safe to say, Keith was shocked. His eyes went wide and after a few seconds, he finally spoke.
"The picture you sent? The view was beautiful." I laughed and Drew close to his ear.
"That's because I was in it."

Wassup kiddos! It's been a long time since I've even had Wattpad on my phone. A good 8 months I think.... Oops. I never planned to die for that long but hey, I'm back now! Great timing too since I have my GCSEs in literally 4 months :))))))))))
