Chapter 5

A/N: Hi my lovelies! I can't get over the responses I am getting on this story! You guys are amazing! Thank you! I hope you are ready for this chapter! Today is my baby boys birthday. He is 17 today! I cried when I kissed him goodbye as I have to be at the shop this morning. I want to stay home and keep him home and just spend the whole day with him. But I need to work and I am training my best friend this morning. So it will still be a good day. Right now I am currently getting things set up to get some pastries started. Have to start at four in the morning as we open at 7. Gonna be great having three of us here. Will get it done quicker. I'm anxious to be around Anne again. Has been too long. She should be getting here soon. I start getting the flower and eggs and whatnot out and the utensils and mixers that we will need. Frostings and fillers are already made up. As I get out the last bit of items we will need I hear the door ding and laughter filling up the atmosphere. Here she is and Barbara must be with her.

"Where's my love at?", I hear Anne holler out. She is gonna fit right in with us other crazy ladies

"Back here love!", I holler out at them.

When Anne gets to the back we immediately go to each other for a hug. We hear the click of a phone and break apart to see Barbara smiling at us

"Sorry, but this moment needed to be saved and cherished ", She tells us

After we give our welcome hugs Barbara and Anne go to the back to get things started back there. I get coffee and cappacciono machines set up and ready to start when it's time. As I start getting the display set up and ready to put product in I hear Barbara and Anne in the back laughing and playing around. I stand there for a bit and take in their laughter. So good to hear Anne's laughter again. It is music to my ears. I go back to stocking cups and napkins and such before going to the back. When I was done I headed to the back to see how much they had gotten done.

"What happened?", I asked trying not to laugh at my best friend who was laughing and Barbara was doubled over in laughter. Anne had flower covering her whole face. Some in her hair and traces of it on her apron.

"I welcomed her into our little family", Barbara explained through her laughter.

"She grabbed a handful of the mixture and threw it at me", Anne says through her laughter while trying to wipe her face off. "Thankfully I didn't put in the egg and milk yet", She says still laughing some.
