His Eyes (Narry AU Alpha/Omega)

Chapter 6

Niall

I can't believe I found him. My Alpha? I think he is my Alpha. We didn't set anything in stone but it's just the way he makes me feel. And he is/was my childhood best friend. That makes this even better. When I looked into his eyes, after I accidentally tackled him, I seen and felt something I never have before. More of the images flashed through my mind. The feelings I had were so over-whelming. And the fact he helped me change to my wolf form. That was exciting. I did not want to leave him when we had to part. But was excited to tell my mom. Harry walked me home and we said our goodbyes at the end of my driveway. We were still in our wolf forms, so we just snuggled our heads together and licked each other as a goodbye. I could feel his eyes on me the whole time I walked to the door. I could tell when he started walking away, as the feeling of his presence got weaker. That feeling of him never leaves me though. Just gets stronger the closer he is. When I got to the door I was so excited that I forgot that I couldn't open my door, so I just scratched it with my paw. Then I started banging on it. My mom opened the door and I just ran through all excited.

"Wipe your paws little..wolfy?", I heard my mom call out as I ran up the stairs. Her statement turning to a question in the end. I ran up the stairs and to my room turning back to my human form once the door was shut. I picked out something comfortable to change into just as my mum knocked on the door.

"Niall James!", She says through the door

"One moment mum!", I call back to her. I quickly got dressed and then opened the door. My excitement showing on my face and the fact I couldn't stand still. I was rocking back and forth on the balls of my feet. My mum standing there with her arms across her chest and tapping her foot. "Hi Mum!", I say sheepishly as I wave at her. The smile on my face still as wide as can be.

"Mind telling me where you been", Mom says in her serious motherly tone. "You just ran out. Been gone for hours. And then you come back and RUN through my house in your wolf form!", She says trying to hide her excitement as she was worried about me.

"I had to get out of here mum. Everyone was talking about their significant others. Or their run they had in the woods. Was talking bout how 'poor Niall' will get there someday. I couldn't take it anymore mom. Their whispers loud in my ears. I had to get away", I explain to her.

"I'm so sorry honey", She says as she wraps her arms around me. Giving me the comfort that only a mother can give.

After a bit she pulled away, holding me at arms length with her hands on my shoulders.

"I see that you figured out how to change though", She says excitement in her voice

"I did mum!", I exclaim. "I had help, but I did it!", I say the smile returning to my face.

"Who?", She asked with her head cocked to the side and her eyebrows furrowed

"I found him mum!", I say with excitement. "Or he found me", I say with furrowed brows

"Who? Who'd you find sweetheart?!", She asks excitement laced in her voice

"My Alpha mum!", I exclaimed. "Well I believe he is anyways. We didn't bond or anything, but yeah", I say smiling

"Ohhh! What'd he look like?", She asks smiling wide as she pulls me over to my bed to sit down.

"I don't know. He was in his wolf form. But I found out that we have mutual friends. And his name is..Harry mum", I say smiling even wider. "My best friend mum!", I say again

"Oh my God!", Mum says with her hands over her mouth and her eyes getting watery. "He found you", My mum says gasping at her own words. Like she let something slip out that she shouldn't have. I ignore it though as I am just excited about how my birthday turned out. I know you normally do anyways, but come to the bakery in the morning before you go off to school", My mum told me with a smile. I nodded my head and then she gave me a kiss and left my room.
