Chapter 14

*Timeskip for a couple of months*

Winters POV

I was training Yang, letting her get used to her arm before she went out and make her choice in finding her sister or her mother. I know she will make the right decision, I just hope she doesn't get hurt.

I wished her farewell as she drove off, I went back inside and did the daily chores around the house, Tai had went out and went to work as a teacher and also helping out with the building of Beacon. I look out the window as the sun was setting, turning to night, "Qrow...I hope you're safe and—"

There was a big loud knock that echoed the house, I ran down with my robe and look though the peephole...Qrow.

"Open up! He won't last long!" said a red hooded girl...Ruby!

I opened the door wide as I yelped the team carry him out, "Get the medic kit and lets get him to a bed!" I said as they retrieved the kit. "Qrow... Qrow can you hear me?"

He panted out weakly, nodding, "I'm here Winter..."

"Stay with me Qrow, you're going to be okay," I said calmly. I got the medic kit and got the gauzes, "Can someone tell me what's wrong?"

Ruby and the team explained about a guy named Tyrian, a scorpion fanus, had grazed him with his tail and got the opportunity to inject poison. I was thinking of ways and strategies to get this poison out of his system. "Okay, now, someone get me some beer and orange juice,"

Without question, they ran into the kitchen, Ruby not leaving his side. "How is that going help?"

I use the gauzes to suck up the rest of the poison, taking off his shirt and give him some medicine, "I'm going to make him throw up some of this poison and clean his digestive system." I had gotten all of the poison out and cleaned up his wound.

Jaune and Ren returned with the beer and orange juice, after, Nora brought the bucket, "Nice thinking," I had said as I mixed up the two liquids. I lifted Qrow up and make him drink it, he refused a bit, but drank it when he tasted the rum.

After he drank it, I sat him up and rubbed his back. He groaned because of his stomach then later started gagging. Nora held the bucket ready and he started puking. He puked every fiber of his being, hating it, then I got the suspected color, purple.

After he was done, he spat into the bucket the remains and groaned, I ordered one of the boys to get some water and asked Nora to dump the puke. The boys came back with water and handed it to me. I wash his mouth with water, dumping the rest of the water from his mouth to the bucket Nora cleaned out. He coughed a bit as he started to regain color, "W-winter..."

"I know I know, you're hungry and feel like crap," I said as I laid him down, starting a makeshift IV. "Relax, you're going to be okay,"

He wanted to resist, but sighed, closing his eyes and rested. I inserted the IV in his back hand vein gently, but quick so he didn't feel it, then I taped the IV on his hand so it wouldn't slip. Qrow started to rest comfortably and started to sleep, I put him on top of the gurney and asked the team to lift him up while I was holding the IV bag. We put him in our room, keeping him comfortable, "You four are not going anywhere,"

Jaune wanted to protest, "But-"

"That is an order Arc as so as the rest of you, and if you try you leave, I swear on the kingdoms of Remnant I will track you down, understood?" I asked sternly to all of them.
