IT'S YOU
by Henry
you noticed the look on his face; he was practically in a bad mood which made him silent throughout the whole two days. "wonwoo-ssi," you called him just to break the tensed atmosphere in the car, "can we go to the flower shop?"
he glanced to look at you without any expression— he was always like that whenever he was in deep thoughts. as much you were curious about it, you let it slid away from your mind. he pressed his lips in a thin line as he nodded his head.
"I'm thinking of visiting my mum," you breathed out; it was still hard for you to forget your dream but after hearing out that wonwoo didn't diagnosed throat cancer, you tried to convinced yourself that it was just a painful bad dream.
once you arrived at the flower shop, you asked wonwoo first if he wanted to join because he looked like something was really bothering him. he stared at you for a good couple of minutes until a sigh escaped, "no, I'll go with you," he finally spoke.
the bell chimed when you entered the shop with wonwoo, "welcome!" greeted the florist with pure excitement. you smiled to her, "is there any specific flower you are searching?" she asked while looking at the both of you.
you looked at wonwoo; he was still thinking of something. "I'm planning to give a flower to my mother," you replied. the florist nodded her head as she understood, and then she tried suggesting a few flowers to you.
actually, you had no reason to buy flowers for your mother— you thought that coming to the flower shop would at least catch wonwoo's attention because he loved flowers. you failed to grip him as he was already drowning in his thoughts.
"it's okay, I'll look around," you told the florist, so she could give you space. she nodded once before she walked away, but you actually spotted her eyes catching a few looks of your husband. you smiled at her cute action, "she thinks you're hot," you suddenly blurted out.
wonwoo looked at you before he looked at the florist. he didn't reply, neither did he look like he cared. you rolled your eyes as you suddenly got a little annoyed of his behaviour— he could at least scoff for you, instead, he ignored you.
you looked around the shop whilst wonwoo was following you from behind. "what do you think about these?" you lifted a handful of pink carnation to show it to him. wonwoo stared at the flower, "I'm sure your mother would love it!" you excitedly exclaimed.
"I thought you're buying flowers for your mother," he deepened his voice which caught the florist attention, you glanced to look at her and she was cupping her cheeks. "It's okay, mother likes any flower," he replied coldly.
"can't I buy flowers for your mother too?" you did a little pout, "I'm buying two bouquet of these," you raised your voice so the florist could hear you— she quickly stood up straight and approached you.
