waiting outside johnny's room, the door of his room opens. oh, it's lauren.
"looks like i gotta stay with you." lauren says, slightly bothered.
"apparently." i say.
there was a few minutes of silence until i spoke up.
"you know, it can't be that awkward when we're around eachother. we know we're gonna see eachother often because of johnny being sick. we have to get used to it instead of hating eachother like immature five year olds. we used to be bestfriends lo, it can't be that hard." i say, she looks at me strangely.
"that's true. but my brother didn't deserve what you did to him. what if you do something even worse to me?" the blonde says.
"i'm sorry, lauren. i won't do anything to you, i promise." i say, a small smile forms on her face, but then she shakes her head.
"okay, fine. but that doesn't mean we're friends." she says.
"you know, i've been writing some letters to johnny until he wakes up. why don't you write something?" i ask.
"that's impressive to hear from you. but yeah, sure i guess." she says.
she takes about ten minutes or so to finish up writing a letter, then, she hands it to me.
"thanks lauren." i say, smiling.
"no problem." she says, placing a strand of hair behind her ear.
fast forward >>
i arrive to my room. seeing a few papers on my desk, i run up to it, and take a seat, with lauren's later in hand.
the letter said;
dear johnny,
hey, it's lauren.
kenzie suggested i write a letter to you, so why not?
it's been really hard without you.
we all miss you, darian, maddie, mom, dad, and me.
i kind of been going through some hard stuff without you here.
i have no friends to go towhen i'm at my worst.
usually i'd go to kenzie or you— but i don't think those options would be possible anymore.
it sucks so much, johnny.
when are you going to wake up?
it's been long enough.
it hurts so much.
well, it's been five minutes and i don't wanna make kenzie wait that long.
love you, johnny.
