Chapter 2

Tris POV

We both decided that we would gather all our friends in our apartment and surprise them with the news.

We walk into the cafeteria hand in hand. I spot Zeke and Shauna and yell " Hey guys, our place in 5 " over the booming sound of dauntless " oh, and tell the others " Tobias adds.

Zeke, Shauna, Uriah, Marlene and Lynn all turn up together, so we all just start chatting while we wait for Will and Chris.

" How long do they take " Lynn whines. Everyone mumbles an ' I know right ' just when the door flies open to reveal an out of breath Will and Christina.

" Sorry ...

late ...

big ..

news ... "

" Tris, Four you go first " Zeke says.

" Okay ... well, we are engaged! " I squeal.

Everyone congratulates us and then there is a squealing Christina.

" What ? " I exclaim

" Saaame " she shrieks.

" Wait ! what " I can't believe this, me and Christina are engaged at the same time.

" Wow guys this is amazing " Marlene says smiling. " Tell us all the details. "

I'm really happy that Marlene asked so now I can share our amazing proposal with everyone.

" Yay okay well it was the most romantic and magical experience ever ... " Once I described every little detail I show them my ring. It's a gold band with a gigantic diamond in the centre and smaller ones encrusted on both sides. " and look " I slip the ring off my finger and show them the '4+6' that's engraved on the inside.

As I glance over to see everyone's reactions I notice that Chris looks kinda sad.

Chris POV

Why does Tris get the beautiful ring and the romantic proposal, it so unfair.

" Christina, your turn " Marlene says, snapping me out of my thoughts.

" Ummmm ... well, we were eating dinner and Will proposed "

" That's so cute " Tris says, sarcastically, I think. I feel my cheeks burning with jealously. I love Will but he isn't the most romantic person " This is my ring " I mumble gesturing to my hand.

Tris POV

I know I shouldn't compare our rings but I can't help it. Chris' is a silver band with a simple diamond in the middle, nothing as extravagant as mine.

" It's really pretty " I state, knowing that it's simplicity doesn't match Chris' personality.

" Well guys how about some champagne to celebrate ' Tobias says, breaking the silence.

" Great idea, bring on the booze " Uriah yells.

" Oh no " everyone says laughing ... except Chris. I wonder what's bothering her?

A/N : so sorry guys I know that I haven't updated in forever but I had so many exams and sorry it's kinda short but I will try update soon.
