Chapter 34

I was staring at him and he was staring back at me. It was like a battle that seemed endless. I was trying so hard not to blink, but Sam looked so calm. I tried not to look away, but it wasn't that hard since he has a hot face.

I'm going to win this, I can't let him get away with what he did.

His lips twitched into a small smile which he couldn't hide knowing he was going to win. Mr. McGrumpy's piercing green eyes locked into mine as I couldn't stop staring at them.

They were so beautiful. How did I not realise that before?

I could clearly see myself in them, they were like two green mirrors who hid many emotions, who hid pain and sadness and who were all replaced by his grumpy look.

Looking at him, I never wanted to say goodbye.

My heart almost dropped, I was feeling something weird I have never felt before, a feeling I couldn't just shrug off.

Then I blinked.

"I won maid" Sam said as I nodded without saying anything and looked out of the planes window.

Okay, what was all that thinking about? I mean, it's Sam. I don't care about him and he isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

Then someone poked me from behind as I turned my head to see Thorn with a smile on his face "Hey cute cumber, what are you thinking about?"

"Not you"

I faced Sam furrowing my eyebrows "Sam, stop"

"I'm thinking about nothing"

This is ridiculous. Why do people ask "what are you thinking". It's my mind dammit, why'd you care what happens in there. As far as you know I may be fudging an ornage in my mind, do you wanna know that? No.

We were on our way to Ireland. I really wanted to see it since I've never been out of America, till I met Sam and know he has been dragging me place to place.

I was tense, I had a bad feeling. I usually trust my gut, that biatch is always right, but now I had a feeling my gut was wrong.

I'm so confused about many thing.

What do I feel about Thorn? Why does Mr. McGrumpy makes me feel things I have never felt before?

Why is my life so complicated right now? I only wanted a job. I only needed some money since my lazy ass so called "my dad" won't do anything.

Suddenly Mr. McGrumpy's hand touched mine as he started to rub my hand with his thumb.

"What's bothering you?" He said in a sexy voice.

Why did that sounded so sexy dammit? I'm being ridiculous right now.

"Nothing ia bothering me, I'm fine"

I moved my hand away from his. After what he did yesterday? Nuh uh nothing ain't happening.

What did he do? Well, I started new year with Gaylord right here pinching my cheeks and calling me "chubby cheeky".

Isn't that amazing? Every girls dream right?

"You're a drama queen Connors"

"Hey, at least you know my last name. Is it that hard to call me by my name" I said crossing my arms at my chest and raising an eyebrow at Sam.

"Okay, Natalie" Gaylord said as I furrowed my eyebrows.

"Why'd you say my name like that?"

"Like what Natalie" Samuel Mc fudging Grumpy teased saying my name like that again.

"Like my name it's sarcasm. No, it's Natalie, not Natalie"

"Okay, okay chill guys. Stop fighting" Aiden says kicking both of our chairs.

Aiden has been also acting weird. Why is everyone acting weird, I swear I'm going crazy.

"Okay guys, you need to tell me why you're all acting weird, besides Sam. Sam is always grumpy"

Aiden huffed "I'm not acting weird, New year same Aiden right"

I shook my head breathing heavily "what about you Thorn?"

"I won't deny it. I'm acting weird, because Sam bothers me"

"Why is that?" Sam said crossing his arms at his chest "Are you jealous about something?"

"About what?"

This needs to stop. This needs to stop right now and there's only one thing I can do.

"Aiden, come for one second with me…I-i want to get water, but I don't wanna go alone"

Aiden gave me a weird look, but came anyway.

"So what's up?" He asked crossing his amrs at his chest as I nervously laughed.

"Well, I cannot stand Sam and Thorn any longer and I know Thorn hates Sam because he is jealous, but I don't know why Sam hates Thorn"

Then Aiden started laugh "You seriously haven't noticed anything?! Like, nothing why Sam hates Thorn?"

"No" I said being more confused than ever. What should I have noticed?

"You're so naive Nat damn"

Okay I swear I'm so confused right now. What should I have noticed and I'm not naive. I know Sam hates me. See, I'm not naive dammit.

"Anyway, I really need your help. Please, their attitude needs to stop plus it will be a lot of fun"

A grin appeared on Aiden's face "Fun? I'm in"

"Okay, so here's what we are going to do" I said telling him the whole plan as his eyes widened open and he just started at me.

"Nat, that's-…"

"Unreasonable, I know I know I can't just stand them anymore"

He winked at me "I was gonna say crazy, heck count me in"

He caught my hand and we walked towards Sam and Aiden.

My heart was beating so fast, but their face was priceless and I spoke out.

"Sam, Thorn. Me and Aiden have been wanting to tell you guys something important"

"What?" Sam said looking me in the eye dead serious.

"We are dating"

A/N- I got over the wirters block faster than I though. I freaked out for 6 days, because I hadn't update and while I was eating popcorns I started to write like damnnn -_-
