I looked again and there was another person in my yard. I curiously walk out.

As I approach the stranger, I see that it is a beautiful girl, collecting my food.

"Hey!", I shouted, "What are you doing?".

She stopped, stood up and stated,"This is a community garden, genius. It's for the neighbors to share.".

She walked towards me, "Willow Grayson, my friends call me Will.".

"Milo", I extend my hand.

She took it, "So, what is your career?"

"Bike repair."

"Teacher, but I guess I won't be in service till at least five years from now."

"Cool."

Then she walked away  without saying goodbye.

Two months later

After two months we have observed many things about our new life. Like how there is a court system to reassign jobs (I am still on the waiting list), or how it only rains on Wednesdays. There are different rooms of worship in the main building. There are no human doctors, only robots. There are five schools, all of them unused. We get a small check every month for fun items, since everything necessary is provided.

One morning, I woke up to a tapping on my window. It wasn't Wednesday, so I couldn't have been rain. I opened the curtains, and there stood Will Grayson. She smiled and nodded for me to come outside.

I get dressed in my normal gray tee and jeans, and stepped out.

"Hey", she said, "follow me".

I did as I was told. And walked towards the woods after Will.

After what seemed to be hours of complete silence, we ended up in a meadow. Not a person, house, or anything other than us, the woods, and the meadow could be seen. The sunrise had just begun.

Finally I built up the courage to say something, "This is amazing".

She glanced at me, "I come here often, just to lay down and think, think about my friends from older years, and my family I left behind".

"I miss them", I stated, "I miss my life".

Willow looked at me and smiled. Then walked away.

"Where are you going?"

She was already too far from me," Meet me at my place! Dinner!", she shouted.

She then left me alone in the meadow.
