Three months later
I was finishing up my last sale before the end of the day. Danny walked in, anxiously.
"Hey, Milo, um, I- I need you to do something for me. Got it?"
"Um, yeah Danny, what?", I responded.
"I need to put my house on the market, can you do that for me?"
"Of course,Danny, anytime"
"Okay", and just when he was about to leave, he turned to me and said, "And don't you ever lose Willow, what you have is worth so much more than you could think".
I was a little shocked, "Okay man, love you".
He just nodded and then left.
I should have stopped him.
Later that night, Will and I just finished eating our dinner, when Peri comes bursting in.
"Jesus, Periwinkle, can't you knock?" Willow gasped.
Suddenly Peri ran to the sink and vomited. She wiped her mouth, with tears streaming out of her eyes she whispered, "Danny".
Willow and I sat Peri down and made her explain what had happened. I put milk on the stove for hot cocoa, and chocolate to make her feel better.
"I went to see d-Danny and I openedthedoorandtherehewashangingfromtheceiling", Periwinkle hyperventilated.
"Slow down, love, what happened?"
"I opened the door and Danny was there hanging from the ceiling. And he didn't leave a note, was he going to leave a note? What happened? Why'd he do this? This isn't fair! I want my best friend back!", she sobbed and melted on Willow's shoulder.
I was still in shock, Danny dead?
I stumbled out of the kitchen, and out of the house. I walked drunken with despair, towards Danny's house. I shoved the crowds of people out of the way, and there was Danny. Dead.
My best friend, the depressed kid, so broken. I could never tell that he was suicidal, I fell on my hands and knees. What is going on!
"Danny!", I screamed but there lied the lifeless, broken body, of the boy I considered my best friend.
"Don't you ever lose Willow, what you have is worth more than you could think."
Danny started dragging me away from his house.
"No! No!" I screamed as I broke away from Danny's grasp.
I collapsed sobbing, on the ground, wishing Danny to come back.
