smirking to yourself, you knew you're going to probe him wrong. you point over to where james is sitting. luckily, he was already looking in your direction. "there he is!"
james smiles at your ex-boyfriend and looks around the room chewing on a strand of wheat. "you lot are fucking weirdos, i'm off out." you wave and say goodbye in a sing-song voice.
once you have the drinks, you walk back over to yours and james' table, "thanks for not leaving me for him." you soften your eyes and hold james' hand,

he squeezes your hand, "good, because i feel the same way."
