OXYGEN~

  The sweet, gentle voice sang beautifully.

A woman, hair as dark as the depts of the seas that fell in thick waves, gorgeous bright eyes that reflected the oceans, held within her arms an infant boy with dark curls and deep ocean green eyes. The child' s little arm outstretched to its mother as she sang of the beauty of the seas. She sang of the clear and deep waters, and of the beautiful, colourful fishes and coral reefs. The song went on to all the peaceful sea-folk who lived in the magnificent city of Atlantis.

  The baby cooed and smiled as slumber overtook him. He closed his eyes and fell into slumber in his mother's ​arms. She kissed her son. Her firstborn, a being with mortal blood through his veins, who she loved unconditionally. The door creaked behind her as she gently placed the babe into the cradle. Her lover, a half Thunderbird, unlike herself, a full-bred water bender, stood in the doorway, gold blonde hair and green eyes that their son had inherent.

He beamed sadly. "Do you have to leave? " He asked for, possibly, the hundredth time.

She nodded, "My brother needs me. " 

"When will you be back, Ana? "

She shakes her head. "I'm ​not sure I shall ever return to land, Tyren."
