Hey!.(☞ ͡ ͡° ͜ ʖ ͡ ͡°)☞ this was a lil something for school; an English essay. Hope you like. Oh! Would someone mind guessing my age? ʕʘ̅͜ʘ̅ʔ

                              WENDIGO
Jesse took in the view. He had to admit, that this place was really creepy. He'd come here with his friends in hope of just fooling around. But, he didn't like how the place gave off a weird vibe. The room he stood in, was nearly pitch black and the air was thick. His friends we're close by, spider webs sitting in corners while a bold, fresh scent made his stomach churn. Old bulbs swayed with the cold draft that came in with a whistle through the old, damp and wooden windows. Jess shivered while his friends awed.
Amanda, the bravest of their little group was ever up to a challenge, seeing them as an opportunity. She was dark-haired, slender and hazel-eyed. Curls of wild hair fell on her nape and her nose twitched as she took up that stench of which Jesse had caught earlier. Will, the athlete, shifted on his feet, lost in interest. His blonde head craning around, taking in the peeled, antique wallpapers and stained paints. Will's dirty hair stuck up at all ends, deep blue eyes observant and filled with fascination. He was the tallest and largest of them, bulky due to his countless participation in activities. He may have been an athlete, but he surely didn't have brains for coming up with this stupid idea.
Jesse, the only smart one, in his opinion, didn't approve of this plan one bit. Mainly because their Teachers and Principal kept warning the students Blackwood East, to ne'er go near the old building. Apparently, it was unstable; dangerous and had been abandoned since some past pupils fell threw weak floorboards and were never found or seen again. Jesse was the shortest, and in this case, the only right-thinking one here, and because he was a good friend, he'd come along. He was the shortest but fast on his feet and lean, with chocolate brown hair and green eyes. Gingerly coming up beside him, was Jamie. Who was an incredibly shy girl that bared short, straight, red hair that began at a crow's peak and grey eyes. She was a petite thing and it was a complete miracle that she was even here with them on this dumb journey. She usually kept out of their extravagant ploys.
The group of friends walked around, listening to the creaks of the boards and watching their steps. Jess stayed close of Jamie, as he knew she was keen to be scared easily. Will and Amanda wandered around, and Jess's eye caught something. He felt the air chill and his hair stand on edge, as he walked towards the old doors.
"Guys, maybe we shouldn't be here?" Jess says softly and the door just seems to get closer.
Amanda scoffs, "Chicken," Just as an old piece of draft wood fell with a crash, causing splinters to fall apart with a groan.
Jess pauses and reaches for a rusty latch, flipping it open. The door groans open, without the teen's aid. The smell rises and a strong breeze pushes against him, the door closing with a bang. Dust flutters around, earning coughs from the others whole Jess remains frozen. Jamie creeps nearer, only to come to a dead halt. The Hall that follows, is wide and dark, damp too. A single light swings above, blinking weakly, but shining enough to reveal what was standing in the centre. The creature is something out of the movies they watched or the games they played. It stands soaring over their heights and it's so skinny. Impossibly thin, starving with greyish blue skin and hollowed in eyes. Sharp claws, dragged at the floor, the heavy horns on its head, look similar to that of antler from a Buck (male deer). It breathes out harsh puffs, the bones of its ribs visible due to the dim blinking light.
Jesse could tell she was going to scream, he felt like he would too but, for some reason, he knew that would make things worse. And just as Jamie was about to let it out, his hand shot up over her mouth, and he shushed them all. Meeting the creature's eyes.
Then it begins to move, he doesn't register its speed, only the movement of its claws and the puffs of air through narrow nostrils. He was sure that there was a crash before darkness completely took him.

I'm sorry if it was too short for your liking! ( T ʖ̯ T)
