"What's up, E.T?" I said, still lying on the table. Rigor Mortis must have started, as my joints were stiff. Mina hugged me, still crying.
"Mina, it's okay. I'm okay. No need to cry." I told her, getting up and hugging her. She glared at me, clearly pissed about something.
"What? Do I have corpse breath?" I breathed into my hand and smelt it. No, my breath is fine.
"How do I know your not Red?" Oh crap. She must've seen me squirming during the Red fight. How do I prove it to her? Ohh. I know.
"Does this prove it?" I pulled her in and kissed her. After we parted, she smiled with half lidded eyes.
"Yep, that's you Rainbow. No doubt about it." She smiled. The doctors walked in, and Mina had taken my mask off before I woke up, so she shoved an acid ball in my face. The doctors walked away as I ran to the sink.
"OH IT BURNS!" I screamed, washing the acid off my face. Muna walked in.
"What happened in there?" She asked. I explained what happened in the mindscape. Ultra Instinct, Red's death, the merging. She was stunned at the intense events. I was just happy I was back with my Mina again. She handed me a box with a rainbow sticker on it.
I opened the box to see a redesigned version of my suit, which now consisted of a red jumpsuit, with the same cape and mask. Plus new boots that allowed for flight. It was perfect. Her costume was updated too. After my accident, she greyed out her suit and made it rainbow colored. That happened three months ago. It felt like fifteen minutes in the mindscape! Regardless, I was back, and nothing was taking me out again.
