Graduation

Four years after the last chapter)

Today was Mina's graduation day, and she wanted me to be there. Over the years with Mina, I unlocked my true potential: Rosè. That form I achieved during the tournament was my final transformation. I learned to master it and got used to transforming. The final touch was the hair. I had to choose the color it turned. For the longest time, I couldn't choose. It was only when Mina told me her hero name "Pinky" after my nickname for her that I chose Rosè to match my girlfriend. Now, I am her hero partner, under the hero name "Rainbow" to match my transformations. I had also developed new tech for us to instantly get into our super suits. Anyway, back to the graduation.

It was 6:00 P.M. at the school auditorium, and All Might was hosting the ceremony. I was the youngest hero in the stands. The ceremony started, and the graduating class took their seats. I found Mina instantly, as she was the only pink person in the class. All Might gave a speech saying how proud he was of this class, especially Izuku, as he was his successor. All Might looked completely different, once a extremely muscular figure towering above everybody, now skeleton thin with a ratty, unkempt hair. He also pointed out Mina, as she had proven herself a true hero with her "mysterious" partner. He knew it was me, but left me out to protect my dignity. Rainbow isn't exactly the most masculine hero name. The ceremony proceeded as normal, with each student going up, grabbing their diploma and hero license, and walking back to their seat. With Mina, it was different. She got up, was handed TWO diplomas and TWO hero licenses, and sat back down. All Might explained one was for Mina, the other was for me, again referred to as Mina's "mysterious" partner. Soon, every student had their diploma and hero license, and the ceremony was about to end, when an explosion erupted from the wall behind everyone. A blast shield descended in front of the crowd, but I slipped through before it sealed off. The old man riding the contraption began to speak:

"Greetings, heroes to be. I am Mind Master, and I am here to rule the world!" Every hero got ready to fight, when he activated the machine he stood on. I covered my eyes and put on my headband. When the light finished, every hero in the room stood like a zombie.

"I see we have a strong willed one here. Minions, destroy him!" He pointed at me. I turned Rosè to see every hero charge at me, including Mina. I rushed to the blast door and tore it away, releasing all the older heroes to fight.

"Blast! No matter, I shall destroy the hero world and conquer this world with ease!" Mind Master said, laughing at the destruction. Every new hero fought an old one. Frog girl fought the Stretcher. Deku fought Doctor Wrecker. Sparkling Hero got pummeled by Crash Man. I decided to take out Mind Master until I was tackled by a familiar pink alien.

"Mina, snap out of it! This isn't you! I don't want to fight you!" I screamed. I hope the real her could hear me. I was wrong.

"Shut up, hero dog! I will destroy you in the name of Mind Master!" She shouted, flinging acid at me. I dodged and prepared to fight.

Oh my god, she's lost it, I thought to myself. I had to save her. She's too precious to me.

She acid skated towards me, but I used afterimage to avoid her ramming me. She threw acidic punches and kicks, landing every hit. I didn't want to fight back. I didn't want to hurt her. She kept coming and coming, never getting off the offensive, and as I grew tired, it became harder and harder to dodge. I couldn't change to Ultra Yellow, as my mind had to be calm, and calm is impossible while you're fighting your girlfriend. Then it happened. A rogue piece of acid flew through the air and hit my headband, melting the golden frame. The jewel fell into my hands, as my hair started to turn darker.

"Oh no...what have you done!? You've doomed us all, Mind Master! Without my headband, I can't CONTROL MYSELF!" I screamed at Mind Master, knowing HE, RED would take over.

(Red p.o.v)

FREE! I AM FINALLY FREE! After years of being trapped and limited by that damned headband, I am finally free once again! Without even thinking, I attack the first thing that comes into eyesight: the girl. Ahh yes, this will make him pay for sealing me away for all this time! I rush at her, punching wildly, never letting up. It took about 4 minutes before she fell. I could tell she was hurt, but I didn't care. I spotted an old man atop a strange device. I assumed he was the principal of the school, so I rushed forward, flying straight through the device, destroying it. He fell, crawling away as I walked towards him.

"No! Please! I'm sorry! I'll turn myself in! Just don't hurt me!" I picked him up by the collar.

"Oh, I don't care about the first part. But the second part..." I rammed my hand through his stomach, blood covering my arm on the other side, "That's what I'm here for." The frail old man bled out within seconds. His body hit the floor of the auditorium. Then the skeletal figure, I believe his name was "All Might", bulked up and charged at me. What a fool.

"(Y/N)! How dare you kill him! He could've been redeemed!" I grab his extended fist and smash him against the ground.

"I'm not that weakling. I am Red. And I will kill you all."

(Your p.o.v)

I had to do something. Red was about to kill everyone if I didn't stop him! That's when I noticed he was losing energy. This was my chance! I turned Blue and fired a beam from my palm to disorient him for a few seconds, where I could regain control. I managed to pull it off and I screamed at everyone.

"Guys, when Red takes control, beat his senseless until I say stop!" Then Red regained control. Right on cue, everyone dog piled Red and beat the tar out of him. Slowly, his red hair faded to my normal hue and he gave up. I regained control and told everyone to stop. Red took all that pain with him when he left. I sat up and thanked everyone. Then I remembered something.

"Wait, where's Mina!?" I shouted. Everyone parted to reveal Mina, on the ground, bloodied, bruised, and beaten.

"Oh no! Mina! MINA!" I screamed as I ran to her body. She was barely conscious when I reached her. She looked at me and started to speak, tears flowing from her eyes, and blood from her mouth.

"W-what happened? Did (cough cough) did I beat him?" She asked, weakly. I was trying my hardest to hold back tears, but I couldn't. I cried hard.

"(Sniff) yeah Pinky. We-we beat him. SOMEONE GET A MEDIC! MINA'S HURT BAD!" I cried into her chest. She felt this and raised my head. She kissed me deeply. I could taste the blood from the corners of her mouth.

"Despite this, I still love you. I always will." She said, a smile on her face.

"I will too..." I groaned out between my sobs. A healer hero came over and waved her hands over Mina. The cuts and bruises disappeared as she stood up, completely fine. As the healer ran to All Might from the beating Red gave him, I ran to Mina and kissed her for as long as I could, only breaking the kiss for air, a strand of saliva connecting our lips. Everyone stared at me and Mina.

"So, uhh...who wants punch?" I said awkwardly. Standing ovation. After the ceremony was complete, Mina and I drove home. I made a makeshift headband for the jewel to contain Red, made dinner for me and Mina, as we spent the rest of the night loving each other, now more than ever before.
